  • Looks like you had a good trip !,I have a 2004 Shadow 750DC ,I changed my sprocket to a 32 tooth to drop the R.P.M. , I am thinking of going on a road trip ,next time my vacation comes up, I wish I could go on a trip like you did !

  • Fabulous video. I really love the Gateway Singers, and your videos work perfectly with this music. Makes me want to get out on the road again. Thanks. ed

  • can u put more shit on that bike lolkeep it up ez rider

  • I got a 2002 Honda Shadow 750 ACE. Wondering if you made the trip with a stock 41 tooth sprocket?

Loved the journey, keep on sharing!

  • Nice I am from Dallas, getting a Shadow and dreaming of taking a trip like that in a couple of months in the opposite direction.

  • my Taos,NM to Dallas ride was a long one (what's the most scenic route between Taos and Dallas?)

  • WOW 10,000 MILES : ^ 0 you sure earned your iron butt,i hope you did get your award for it. best wishes azpatm01

  • Bet that was awesome roadtrip!!

  • just came back from a ride with friends down to Morro Bay,CA via Yaak,MT, the Columbia River valley, Astoria,OR, redwoods, wine country, SanF, & Big Sur. On the way back, King's Canyon, Yosemite, Hell's Canyon, Idaho's #12, Glacier NP, Kananaskis, and we finished up with the Banff-Jasper Parkway (4700 miles & 2 weeks) - video coming this winter but have posted one so far (view it to see why I called it Bridges Refugee)

  • Need to check this on the map, amazing all those miles clocked up in so little time.

  • very very cool vid :)

  • Really enjoyed the video. Looks like a awesome trip. I like the music that you added too.

  • thanks!

  • Love your bike. Tell me what upgrades you have...what pipes are those???

  • June 2008

I hit Lake Ontario at Sodus Bay,NY

camped a half-dozen nights only (stayed with 6 families along the way, and motels the rest of the time)

I'm done camping on a long trip because I lost too much time every morning packing my gear (and you split the motel bills with riding buddies anyway)

the best place I stayed was at the Hacienda del Sol B&B in Taos, New Mexico (at $140/night for just me it wasn't cheap, but it was worth it)

  • NICE dude thanks for posting this on my video. Looks like we where in a lot of the same places. When was your trip? Did you camp the whole way like we did?

  • I thought I won the Lifetime Achievement Award in 1984 when I was gassing up my Suzuki TS185 in Branson, MO. And older guy came up and asked, "Dij y'all rod that thing all the way from 'braska?" "Yeah" "Y'all must be nuts!".

I'll pass the Lifetime Achievement Award onto you (but not the "nuts" part.) Now I have a new goal!

  • riding a dirt bike for 500 miles IS pretty impressive!

  • I think this my favorite of your videos because it really makes your trip come alive. You mention 10,000 miles in 4 weeks through 30 states in several videos, but this one really drives the point home. Let's see...Edmonton to Houston and back by way of Maine and Nova Scotia?!!!!!

Great videos! They are the best way to take a motorcycle ride in January!

  • The low voice was my father! Jerry Walter. I am Dave Walter in San Jose CA. Looks like you had a great trip. I have never seen our country like that. What was it like?

  • Thats must have been heck a trip !!! keep it up.

  • It is funny I have never heard of these singers before - great music!

  • Very nice, it would be fun to hear all about your trip.
