Ethiopians and Egyptians have similarities, just like Egyptians and Greeks had similarities due to being in close quarters with one another, but they're not magically the same people. Black indigenous people in Egypt aren't the ancient Egyptians, they're Nubian. An entirely different people, much more similar to Ethiopians than ancient Egyptians.
