wow I thought you had van den hul carbon rca's first of all and if they are not balanced line I would highly suggested that you take them off of your hi-fi as they sound like you have put your equipment through a sound fx unit.....nice up grade and the old technics ltd gold edition is nice as well........I would have a look a putting some russ andrews power cable in the technics deck as it makes a massive difference to the performance....I done it to my mk5g's and the rock!
@DJJEFFCLIVEISATROLL, I must admit the Turntable source is my next upgrade and like most things takes time to save and purchase! The rest of the System is balanced through out with all matching cables- Eventually the Phono stage will be balanced also!
@Midnightjazz68 try having a look at the Roksan M Series Standard DXP Phono Stage...it is very good......dont worry about making the record player balanced line.....and if you got the dollar the audio research phono stage sounds very good!!!!!!!!!!.........do the power cable with a Russ Andrews cable first of all and see what you think of that first of all and make sure you by-pass the fuse also, you will love the result.

Great looking system, I am sure it sounds just as good. The Sonus will be my next set of speakers. With this hobby, it never stops....the spending that is :-)
@veteq101, I know It never does, once you upgrade one thing something doesnt keep up- so on and so forth! but its better than wasteing money on Alchohol and Smoking!
How do the amps cope with driving the SFs? I'm about to purchase a pair of Opera Consonance Cyber 845 SET monoblocs to go with my Sonus Faber Electa Amators...I think they'll be a good match, since my speakers are 89db and a benign 6 ohm load
@Midnightjazz68 - got my 845 monoblocs now, things aren't perfect unfortunately. I suspect my SF are a bit too hard for the amps to drive :( Currently looking at various horn solutions.
Thank you!! its pretty hefty and a bugger to install! but once settled in sounds AWESOME!! Sure thing leave it with me ;) Any requests?? Would Led Zepplin be alright??
@Midnightjazz68 yeah it looks amazing, what brand and model is the cable ? yep led zeppelin would be great, immigrant song if you had it would be very interesting...
that's some tasty looking speaker cable you got there ! any chance of doing a video with some more driving rock music ? would be cool to hear your stereo in that situation..
ULikeLikeU I spose I should!! I'm missing out on some money there arent I!!
I am pleased you bought a pair they are amazing little speakers with a large voice!
As for the answer to your question Soulboy10 I have heard the Cremona 'M' but unfortunatley I wasn't as impressed the 'Bass' wasnt as dark I think this could be due to the fact that Sonus Fabers are mass produced in China :( not Italy anymore- The drivers have been changed. My opinion is why fix something that isn't broken?
Love the new CD player, it really looks the part. Impressive set-up, especially like the hifi rack / cabinet / thing :P And those impressive cables again. :)

Hello-mrtheoden The amps work very well with these speakers using mono blocks is the way forward! They will drive your SF without a problem ;)
