This show has been a staple in my life. Not only did I begin to hate every person on earth and every aspect of international bureaucracy and have had several thoughts about anarchy, I've always loved puppet shows!

Spitting Image is the show for people that love comedy and hate everything else.

Spitting image was so obviously constructed by the loony left - the idea that Thatcher WANTED to continue the Cold War is far fetched and ludicrous to say the least. Let us not forget that the likes of Tony Benn are on record as having said they 'wept' when the Soviet Union, a Totalitarian dictatorship, dissolved.

Spitting Image was a satirical show that took real-life events and added *fictional* elements to them for the purposes of satirical ribbing. This is where this "idea" came from - not left-wing propaganda at all.
