@TalesFromTheCrypt80 to me this is a much better record than Wrath, a tad bit more revived. Ashes Of The Wake and As The Palaces Burn are still the ones I consider the best from LOG. But this is solid in its own way. Hope you come around to liking it :)
I really liked "Sacrament" but I get what you said about "Wrath". I'm a huge fan of LoG but that album didn't do it for me. I think this album shows a more revitalized band.
@MrRitualSuicide Lamb Of God referred to themselves once as "American Heavy Metal". I didn't feel like referring to them as groove metal or metalcore or thrash like others have. I assume this band isn't high on your listening radar, so listen to something that's better. I enjoyed it, and if you didn't, then that's fine. Have a nice day.
@runnerjma that album was godly as well, and it had so much material but for me gospel put them on the map, memorable riffs and of course that intoxication addiction to the weird almost bell like cymbal chime.
I preordered it as well, should be in the mail tomorrow can't wait to listen to it. LoG are definetly my favorite band and personally I like every one of their albums, they're all just a little different in their own ways.
waiting on my copious amounts of money from my tax return (laughing which fades into crying) and then i am going to catch up on whatever new stuff that comes out "Resolution" is at the top of the list and "The Great Fire" by the Bleeding Through and then i will be able to do my yearly Big ass CD haul which @runnerjma i will make a CD update video and it would be awesome if you check it out great video as always though josh can't wait for "Gore Obsessed" CLASSY!
my old band opened for those guys when they were touring for New american gospel. they were a bunch of assholes. well at least randy was for SURE lol...just sayin xP \\m//
@runnerjma its all good lol....they put on a hell of a show ill give them that. the dooshbaggery came about on their part because we (a high school band haha) actually pulled a bigger crowd than they did. noone knew who the hell they were back then \\m//
I must say, Spongebob is extremely fucking metal! haha
This albums kicked my ass, and I loved every minute of it!
