This is my favorite Lynn Anderson song ( along with " Stay There 'til I Get There " ). It never really became a big hit, though. I think it was because it was so short. If she had added one more verse it would have been a chart topper. Love it. And thanks for posting it.

Great song and video. Do you have her singing Ride, Ride, Ride, another great song by Lynn out at the same time? I remember her singing both songs on a Welk show from the 60s.

This U-Vision Recording was just recently played over the Thanksgiving Holiday as all PBS Stations on Saturday evenings at 7pm Eastern via satellite feed rebroadcast the best of Lawrence Welk. The original broadcast was November 24, 1968 and was in color, mono. This recording must be from a media center machine or purposely made to appear, the give away? KLVX was not KLVX and the PBS CGI. :) Thanks for the post though, just thought everyone would enjoy some broadcast history!

She was one of the biggest country stars of the '70s. This clip was pre-Rose Garden, and from the Lawrence Welk Show in 1967.
