@kingelf3 If the hype was not all for her fame, and was in fact due to her generosity, then Moher Teresa's death would not have been obscured in the news by Princess Diana's passing. Pretty sure, were it for generosity, that situation would hav been reversed, with Mother Teresa passing shadowing Princess Diana's in the news.

She walked right up to the people and hugged them b/c at the time people were very ignorant and thought having aids meant just breathing their air would give YOU aids. her public display was a shot gun heard around the world. the royal family did not approve. The king is an ass and the reason why it is expected now is because Diana set the standards her sons follow today.
