In memory of one of hollywood's great legends. Cliff Robertson will remembered as Uncle Ben Parker in the Spiderman flicks. but he'll also be remembered for playing lots of good roles such as JFK in PT.109, His Oscar-winning role in Charly. and more movies includes Brainstorm, Escape from LA, J.W.Coop. 3 Days of the Condor. and some TV shows include the role of the campy villain Shame in 4 episodes of Batman Good-bye Mr. Robertson and Thanks for the memories. Cliff Robertson 1922-2011 : ( .....
Between this, going to see it with my Uncle Todd, and hearing my father's last words echoed by Norman Osborn, this movie is a big part of my formative years. RIP Cliff Robertson. For two hours in 2002, I had a father named Ben Parker.
the very first film i saw of cliff robertson was a 70's film called flowers for algernon. and then i see him years later playing uncle ben in what i belive is the best spider-man movie sam rami directed. they can reboot the franchise as many times as they want too. but to me cliff will always be uncle ben..rest in peace.
i cnt believe theyre rebooting the series bcuz sam raimi didnt want to meet the deadlines sony wanted..and by rebooting it theyre putting the release date for a new movie out even further than what sam raimi would have been finished at!!
just remember to always be respectful to your relatives especially youre older ones because u never know what's gonna happen to them! peter had a fight with ben and then right after ben died! itll make u very sad no to mention how bad the relative will feel and remember super powers or no super powers living is a great responsibilty! great and like ben said great power comes great responsibility
@redranger241 He wasn't talking about either spider or puberty. He was talking about the fact that in the teenage years, a person gets more of a sense of independence. They start having to make decisions for themselves, and those choices mold them into who they'll become.
@redranger241 man that's exaclty what i thought and if you didn't have said that i would still think he was talking about him being spiderman he is actually talking about what you can do with a penis lol
i didn't realise this until now and i'm 19 hahahahaha
@redranger241 You are right, but it can be argued that Peter's transformation into Spider-Man - like the origin of so many comic book superheroes - is an allegory for puberty.
Spiderman have the powers. Ben had the wisdom
