  • Apparently the so called "third world" countries outwit the U.S. when it comes to clean energy. It's easy and very cheap to convert a gas hog vehicle to accept ethanol and other sources. Brazil and Colombia among many others already know this and are already ahead on the technology. It doesn't take billions, it takes honest politicians doing what's right. Increase ethanol production and actually put it at the pumps! Obama and Biden might hopefully see the light. The clean light.

  • I will vote for whoever can figure out how we can have a stable economy with alternative fuel sources-hydro,solar and wind and yes, those are efficient and effective.

    I know I am right.

  • It's unnerving that foreign oil rich countries (SaudiArabi, Venezuela, etc) have leverage over the most powerful country in the world. Solutions: Fed. funded rail system (US steel&workers) similar to highway act; Tax incentives to own fewer vehicles/hybrids; New homes have solar hot water heaters(90% homes in Israel do); Nuclear-hydro-wind (ocean wind farm)-solar-bio-diesels-trash/methane plants-tidal-geothermal-a combination, not one quickfix. Better to build infrastructure than temporary fixes

  • How about we treat the oil companies like just another company. Stop letting the oil prices control this country. Whenever the gas prices hit new highs we hear that the price of milk, eggs, clothes, shoes, everything goes up. The gas prices are fell by all forms of transportation. How do you think that chocolate from hawii gets to your doorstep? The domino effect is huge! Push the car companies to produce electric and hydrogen automoblies. Who killed the EV's in the late 90's? The producer!!!!

  • destroy all cars and go with the train and Bus :)

  • i am willing to vote for a president who will invest in solar energy and electric cars. Hydrogen is not the answer. Gas companies hate electric cars cus then they will go out of business, gas companies like hydrogen cars because then they can transition to another thing they can charge money for.

  • Gas companies can transition to hydrogen? May I suggest you take a look at what oil companies do and where their money is invested. You might as well assume they could easily transition to selling condoms.

  • I am selling my pfizer stocks and buying solar

  • Reduce the speed limit on Interstates to 55mph. It would save lives and oil. Make auto makers develop more efficent vehicles by putting REAL standards on them. Use federal money that is being funneled into the middle east to develop new energy sources. Elect someone who is not controlled by the oil companies and who cares about the future of our children, our nation, and our world.

  • Swaech this: Water as a clean source of Energy.

    We already have it.

  • JOE BIDEN has dedicated his life to politics. Joe really cares about America. He has integrity, experience. America needs a respectful, honest leader in the White House. Look at his political record with Delaware and with the Senate's Foreign Relations Committee - THREE DECADES!!! He wrote the Violence Against Women Act and many of America's best crime laws. Because of BIDEN American Citizens are notified when a convicted sex offender moves into our neighborhoods.

  • that was beautiful!

  • Dear Senator Biden, please help save the environment and also please help save approximately $90,000,000,000.00 ($90 Billion) each year by simply supporting doubling of fuel economy standards. There is more information via the Environmental Action web site, or please see video and information via my account. Thank you for your invaluable consideration to this urgent matter

  • I personally would try to buy a hybrid vehicle with one of the highest Miles per gallon ratings i could find THAT IS AMERICAN MADE!!!!! I already use compact florescent light bulbs, double paned glass windows and a heavily(Im in Zone four with Zone 2 insullation) brick home. Also, if i had the money or could get a grant for it Id invest in solar panels to help add engery when we could to the community.

  • I would buy a hydrogen powered car(if its affordable), i would drive an hour away to refuel it if needed. The fuel savings(if any) i would be willing to pay as a tax for alternate fuel source research/development. I already use compact florecent light bulbs in my home. Finally I would vote for candidates with a clear plan and who are tough enough to fight these big companies.

  • (moseley101: so if I pay for a big bomb) A FACT OF LIFE: Those who have the power rule! So, if you feel froggy, moseley; JUMP.

  • OK chadlupkes: One who encourages and lives among others who subscribe to the philosophy and laws of "joint possession", "community property", "common possessions". Did this surprise you? (Now what it means, practically, in todays world is what YOU THINK it means.?.?.?)

  • Pass immediate emerggency Legislation to HALT the Production of Un-Safe Hazardous, & Gas Guzzeling Vehicles, and start building the Vehicles we require for the Safe Transportation of OurSelves, Passengers, Pets, & Property Safely from Our P.O.D. < P.O.D.!!!

  • Wheeeew! That's Scary! Hope and pray your Mom is doing well, though I'm sad to hear about the Electric Trolleys going away.

But you bring up an interesting point. Taking the fight to our Local and State Govts! Since the FEDs dont want to help, we might succeed If Americans bring to the fight home front. Good Luck Dude! And wish me Luck!

  • its called battery efficiency. reduce the price of high-end betteries that recycle energy most efficiently and you will find a new energy bill.

  • I don't know his politics, but he's quite right on this issue. I think solar power is the way to go, it is the obvious source of all life and energy already.

  • solar energy baby

  • i will drive a non gas car when auto makers start making electric and hydrogen car's until then i am SOL.

  • vote Mike Gravel for 2008

stop electing these rich people that don't care about us...

  • When is this guy gonna take off in the polls?! This is ridiculous. Last week, Joe Biden showed up at John Hopkins to debate the Iraq war, and Hillary, Obama, and Edwards blew it off. Who's the leader? America-WAKE UP!! This guy should be our President!!

  • This candidate - Joe Biden will take off in the polls when the American People just listen to him - really listen. Ask him anything and will have a heart felt answer; not rehearsed.

  • How would I break our dependence on oil? That's simple to answer but I think it will be hard to follow through on. UNLOCK ALL THE BLACK BUDGET TOP SECRET TECHNOLOGIES THAT ARE KEPT LOCKED UP IN PLACES LIKE AREA 51 GROOM LAKE AND LOS ALAMOS NATIONAL LABORATORY AND PUT THEM TO GOOD USE FOR THE PUBLIC!

  • Immigration/ You serve 4 years in Iraq and you are legal citizen..

  • Because this is a stupid Question. Nuclear power has been around for decades, Electric cars are operational and effiecient. Brazil is energy self sufficient, for god sake...

  • Why dont we vote how much money the congress and senate make??? And if you do good you get a raise???

  • If the world is going to corporations then it will be communist anyways. They have a moral right to spread the money. Why are the poor dying for these people? Then come home and cant get a job and live on the street. POWER TO THE PEOPLE. WE DIE FOR YOU TO BE RICH DONT EVER FORGET THAT. THEY SAY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE SPOILED I SAY NO. WE HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE SPOILED> WE DIE, WE WORK. WE WORK, AND BLEED AND DIE FOR ARE COMFORT, which are a third of what these people get.

  • I thought that is why we voted you guys into office?! Because you guy and girls have all the resources to make the best decision for our country. Then after discussing it with your colleagues we vote on what the options were. Without lobbyist, biaist or anything else. I thought we were entrusting and empowering you people to make the huge decisions for the better of the US now and for your kids and there kids. I thought this was AMERICA and we were all in this together?

  • how about using some of the oil underneath our very own feet? we've got reservoirs that make the middle east look like a parking lot oil spot. I find it odd how so many from your party lobby to block anything that might result in us maintaining our own supply or even producing at levels where we could be a major supplier to foreign entities, and then have the nerve to get on here and quack about reducing dependence.

  • Joe, I think we are a bit like spoiled children here in America. We can afford to reduce our "standard of living" for reasons such as severing us from our dependence on oil

  • Free is from the LIES! My GOD, tell us 9/11 was an inside job that has caused the nefarious, endless wars, the loss of civil liberties and freedoms and the continuance of a Rogue, Tyrannical SHADOW GOVERNMENT. Release the damn TECHNOLOGIES SECRETED AWAY in BLACK PROJECTS, WE DON'T NEED ANY FOSSIL FUELS!!

  • Too far outside the box for you? Where did I say terminate? I simply said DISCOURAGE massive families. A tax system that rewards large families encourages waste. This has nothing to do with ethnicity, genetics or anything else you want to read into my comments. We have limited resources. Let's act accordingly. If you want a family of 12, fine. But you pay higher taxes than me (I don't have kids).

  • In the late 30's, the Manhattan project was started. Money was no object. The govn't spent the equivalent for $200B, and sequestered >100k of the smartest scientists - saying we WILL develop a nuclear weapon. If we used the same stamina, persistence, money, and ingenuity and said - we WILL develop cold fusion, it can be done.

  • Instead of offering tax credit to families with children, PENALIZE them. More kids = more demand on resources (including govn't services). Why not provide a disincentive to reproducing? Less people = less demand. Many European countries (Germany, Switzerland, etc) have a negative population growth because when you have more kids, you pay more taxes. On the otherhand, in the US, when Laqisha has 7 kids, she can live off of the child-tax credits and never work a day in her life.

  • Wow, erkme, next we'll implement eugenics! Tell us all about your genetic flaws so we can decide if your line should be terminated! Way to be a bigot.

  • 1. Federal mandates on all American car companies, lower emission and 35 mpg mandatory.-20% oil

    2. Go green with ethanol- 5%

    3. Huge tax cut on any american car company making electric cars above a certain quantity-3%

4.(power plants) reasearch on Helium-3 fusion (not fission)

    5.mandates on all

  • Please build a 15ft. wall with outposts every 100miles along the US-Mexican border. Also, make sure we can get to these illegals within 15min. crossing.

  • Biden is the man!

  • Yup i am a Marine veteran who served in Iraq and senator Binden's explaination for the separation of region is the perfect solution. The iraq's world, life and mind revolve around religion. They cannot live together Iraq is not the U.S and cannot become the U.S. I think the sooner we realize that the better.

  • Nuclear power could definitely help. If you're not familiar with the current state of nuclear power, I highly suggest you read/watch the story that ran on 60 minutes about a month ago. (Simply Google: 60 minutes nuclear power).

  • A quote from that article:

"Because nuclear plants emit no greenhouse gases, France has the cleanest air in the industrialized world, and because the price of oil is now around $60 a barrel, it has the lowest electric bills in Europe. In fact, France has so much cheap electricity, it exports it to its European neighbors. French nuclear plants supply power to parts of Germany, Italy and help light the city of London."

  • theres better choices then Nuclear. look up Tesla, and Ralph Ring on you tube, they had free power, invented before any WW2, but of course, he was quickly defeated by Fat cats in government and industry.

  • Ralph Ring the UFO pilot?

  • Sorry, Otis Carr, and Tesla, they had multiple free engery tech.

  • This Man is the perfect candidate why is CNN or Fox feeding us with obama or hilary??? he is the only one that can end the war the right way.. If Obama or Hilary win the republicans will win again and more troops will die..We must take a stand and pass the word of Senator Joe Biden....

  • Hey Joe, I don't think it's so much the oil companies as it is OPEC, the cartel made up of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Nigeria, Venezula among others...

  • The real problem he doesn't mention, because he helped create it IS! This Nation is 64 Trillion Dollars in Debt! Is this what you want to pass onto your children? SLAVERY?

First, educate yourself. Our government and the multi-national corporations are controlled by the issuers of money. Namely, the Federal Reserve, World Banks, IMF and the Rothschild Banks. Vote Ron Paul and abolish the Federal Reserve.

  • Senator, I have always admired you. You are very articulate. But I disagree with you on oil. I think we should drill for more.

  • Senator:

I know you are one of the great advocates for mass transit, i.e.Amtrak. Now, many people compare fuel prices to that of Europe, however they fail to mention that One does not need a vehichle to travel the continent of Europe. They have a GREAT TRAIN SYSTEM!!! This Great country of ours, does not. NOt only would train travel be more fuel efficient, it would also force people to get out and exercise, walk a little. Maybe this can also help with our OBESITY problem in this country!!

  • Honestly americans arnt willing to do much. The SUV and truck sales prove that point. Plug in cars are not much better since the electricity is comming from an oil or coal burning power plant (granted that is just from an environmental point not a middle east oil point). All we can do is vote into office someone who will force us to do what we generally would not do otherwise.

  • It will take consumers to quit using so much of it as well as business and government to search for an alternative. As long as we have idiots driving around in their huge SUVs and trucks FOR NO REASON then gas will stay in high demand.

  • It's called freedom.

If I like driving an SUV, I don't have to justify it to anyone.

Gas prices in oil producing countrie is as low as $0.15 per gallon in some cases.

There is no shortage, and the prices are artificially high. Taxes account for a large portion of the cost too.

  • Taxes do account for some of the pricing indeed; however, if you (not you in particular, just in general) want to drive a gas guzzler you must also accept the consequences.

  • When your freedom to drive an SUV starts to impede my (hypothetical) children's freedom to survive through human-accelerated climate change, we have a problem, no?

  • Domestic Drilling... Lots of it.

    High efficiency diesel engines.

    Nuclear power.

  • KanzlerM You will be hearing from alot of aholes for your statement, but you are exactly correct. If it's not oil they bitch about, it will be the next energy we have. This is really not about oil, it's about hurting and keeping America in it's place to these people.

  • Become Sweedish.

They have alternative fuels in nearly all of their vehicles and are developing even more.

  • Why don't you become Swedish?

And all you mass transit advocates... if you start using the buses, they will be recognized as desirable, so more resources will go towards it.

I prefer to be able to go where I want to when I want to. Ever try to go shopping on a bus? You can only go to one store per trip... if you are lucky and don't need to buy much.

  • sorry, I just can't vote for someone that will squeeze 16x9 video into a 4x3 aspect ratio.

  • i think that the world is in a utter state of chaeos n that bush should remove the troops n resign as president instead of trying to impress his dad....

  • I'm not sure it matters what I'm willing to do -- I think we need the infrastructure so that ordinary citizens can have better choices. I'd like to get off the grid with solar tiles on my roof, but we don't offer that techology in the U.S. I'd like to refit my car to be a plug-in, but there's no information on where I can go to do that.

  • I'd buy an electric car, but the EV-1 has been destroyed. I think you're asking the wrong audience. It's not what the public is willing to do, it's what government and business are willing to do to wean themselves off oil profits and start planning for a renewable future.

  • People, you have to wake up and vote! Ron Paul '08! ;)

  • Wind and solar powers are so expensive. The best normal people can do now is go 2wd, ride bikes/ride together in a car. Earth needs a better system.

-Strings random words together to sound intellectual-

    Anyways, Nice house.

  • i like federalist more! and wigs they both rule H E DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS YA!

  • I would require cities with over 200,000 residents to have public transport. Especially in Texas. Build more green energy sources like solar and wind (nuclear is optional), and require car companies to build more efficient engines like the MYT engine (which give 150 mpg at 200hp). I don't understand why that didn't go into production yet.

  • I want to sell my car and have a 15-20 min. public transit ride to work for around $1.00

  • First, Joe, ignore the lobotomy victims who don't think there's an energy problem. Here are some ideas: tax credits for buying energy-efficient cars. Use solar energy where it's practical, the more it's used the less fossil fuels are being burned, in turn the lower demand for oil should force a price decrease. The solar cells, even if they are an expensive investment, pay for themselves quickly enough. I'm going to practice what I preach and not waste resources.

  • nothing is what im willing to do

  • Ok, good to go green. But there's no point talking about this just now. The Bush babies in the White House need to get their asses kicked to Iraq and back to Texas & Wyoming (impeached) first. Come to think of it, how come most of the Dems are not fighting to impeach them? The Repubs were just born stupid and have to pass the stupid test to even run. What's the Dems' excuse?

  • I've never even heard of you Mr.Biden! Do you stand a chance???

  • After watching today's Republican debate , you gotta laugh at these Democrat clowns !

  • I do agree that the

"Promote ethanol and biodiesel fuels while working on other technologies that are environmentally safe." would help with independance.I live in one of the largest cities in the USA that produce just that. Thats an Oxymoron. Come visit our city. Just get on Highway 72 and follow your nose.

  • Some answers are plain and simple. #1). ALL elected officials need to do THEIR part to conserve energy. #2). Promote ethanol and biodiesel fuels while working on other technologies that are environmentally safe. #3). Stop the hypocritical statements and practice ALL that you preach, Senator Joe.

  • When the dems had their great debate several weeks ago did they take commercial flights to save fuel and increase the passenger miles per gallon for air traffic? uh...no. Ok. Did they jet pool together to save fuel and decrease fuel and operating costs? uh...no. They each took a private jet. Then Joe asks what sacrifices we are willing to make to reduce oil consumption and get away form the oil companies who are "sucking us dry".

  • Lead by example guy. Like Al Gore the inviromental presidential candidate. He has a modest 20 room 12,000 square foot home near Hendersonville Tenneessee with a swimming pool heated by natural gas and his home utility bill only runs $2100 per month.

Come on Joe, get with the "save the earth" program guy.

  • his bill is more for 3 main reasons. 1) old home 2) big home 3) HE FREAKIN PAYS MORE SINCE HE BUYS IT FROM A ENERGY COMPANY THAT GET THERE ENERGY FROM GREEN SOURCES. jesus he wins a award and this comes out. o wow its like someone is tring to discredit him when he says we need to work on climate change.

  • HELLO? Gore lives in tenneessee. Everyone get their power from TVA. One of the largest coal burning plants in the country. We have a plant here. It spits out tons of polution every day. But as long as it is heating Al Gores home it is ok I guess.

  • "vehicle economics" without breaking the backs of automakers here in the USA. I think the penilties are already in place 1.war 2.green house gas.3 soaring cost of fuel.Energy :Nuclear Power..How many business useNuclear Power and why should they? Big Business use coal. They produce their own power. The soaring price of energy in this state has more then doubled in the past year. I want Clean Air.How do we achieve clean air and independance?"Build it and they will come".I would buy a new car.

  • keepitrealUSA i agree with you. we need cleaner air but to destroy our own economy to get it is both fool hardy and costly. And big business use electricty, which is derived from coal. Nuclear power is very clean, unless we get a small leak, then we got a big problem. I think the future of energy is in Wind farms, solar, and geothermal. That means we can then use the oil for transportation and still reduce greenhouse gases.

  • if you lived near a coal plant you would get more radaition then a nuclear power plant i kid you not.

nuclear power plants are keeped pretty safe. they are not the end all answer but they should be used as well as solor wind water.

  • Live near a coal plant? I live in the middle of coal country.

  • You must stop the federal reserve.Ron Paul from Texas is the only one being honest.Tell the American people the truth how you have given our economy and jobs away.Tell them how all the economic numbers the government releases are skewed.Explain how you politicians have transformed America from the largest creditor nation to the largest debtor nation in the history of the world.Tell them their future Joe.

  • The latest poll by Franklin Pierce College has Biden moving up to 4% from 1% in New Hampshire. Biden is gaining a little bit of steam.

  • We must have more energy efficient cars and more work from home programs. How about educational institutions teaching through the web to reduce traffic.

  • ok...you perfect that technology and you will make Bill Gates look like a ragged bum. You expect kids to sit at home and do school work? yeah.sure..it is hard enought to teach them while in the same room with them ,let alone explain it from a remote location.

And today ladies and gentlmen, straight from The land of Dreams and Fantasies, we present Mr.presidentialpolls and his truly remarkable insight in to how to reduce oil consumption.

    Take it away presidentialpolls ........

  • more efficient cars? well this one guy made a car that does 160+ mpg, and no hes not a crazy guy but a well known genius. we have people who have solar cars that can go as fast as 50 mph and can drive during the dark. (good for city use) we have cars that run on compressed air. we have fully electric cars that work fine. we can make hybrid plugin able. the technology is out there its already done.

  • He ought to be gaining steam......he is so full hot air and gas you can see it in his eyes.

  • I would be willing to work from home. I would like to see employers to provide more opportunities to do so. There are alot of jobs that could be done from home and would save alot of fuel.

  • Senator Biden met with 9/11 terror financier Pakistani ISI General Ahmed two days after the attacks.

See Infowars . com headline article for details.

  • The original Mini with electric power could be built for the price of a Honda and run for pennies on the dollar in electric costs. Make conservation attractive, the car makers are guilty of making lousy looking small cars, and making larger cars more attractive for no reason.

  • Make small cars possible, many many 60MPG GAS cars are illegal and unavailable from the 1960s forward because of ridiculous crash bumper and airbag laws. Mini Cooper was denied us from 1968-1996 because of this reason, small, sporty, powerful for its size and price. The new one is 1,000 pounds heavier and made be BMW. Tax heavily engine size like Europe, reasonable use needs will have a waiver (farm, construction, freight, etc).

  • "ridiculous crash bumper and airbag laws."??? tell that to the many whose lives were saved by such technology.

  • Motorcycles are ridden by many and don't require seatbelts or airbags, or "crumple zones", small cars should be allowed, they can be designed to allow other cars to ride over the top in an accident. It would be safe that way. Cars don't kill people, People kill people.

  • "they (cars) can be designed to allow other cars to ride over the top in an accident. It would be safe that way." yeah....right....Ever see a car that "got rode up over" by a semi? Or even a regular pick-up truck? I have. Enough said.

  • oh...and motorcycles actually do have a crumple zone. It is called YOUR CRANIUM. We all know how safe motorcylces are. No one EVER fails to see them and pull out in front of them. And with no-helment laws that makes it even more fun.

And anyone who is riding a motorcycle is not going to the mall, then the grocery store, and then out for a nice dinner in January. They are just traveling. And that is fine. But they are not the answer to increasing the passenger miles per gallon of fuel.

  • Make free electric vehicles available, provide the money by taxing vehicles needlessly overweight and overpowered. Electric Motorcycles/Scooters/City cars can provide more than half of the urban populations with transport. Should have been done years ago. 1 person, 1 vehicle, combined weight not exceeding 1,500 pounds.

  • And with semi trucks covering our highways, carrying the goods and products we need to survive, you can rest asured that thousands will die every year if involved in only a minor incident with one of them. No...not for me. Give me my pick-up truck any day. 20 mpg if drive it smooth, steady and safely.

  • Ugh, 90% of the problem is stop-and-go city traffic, waste and smog. Smaller cars get more than 4 times your gas mileage. They will drive more safely because they are in less protection, don't think for a minute that people aren't driving in an unsafe manner because of the sense of "safety" from their vehicles. The truck drivers aren't courteous, you don't think that psychology has anything to do with the unsafe manner of driving? Smaller cars 60-80MPG, PERIOD. It works for Europe.

  • "They will drive more safely because they are in less protection." UH..WHAT?

I want a vehicle to drive, not some piece-of-crap plastic I feel like I am wearing.

  • um yea we should have just cut off our purchases of oil from iraq. this would mean that they couldnt attack us ever again? right? there is no way they could? what a fucking idiot. all these demoncrats want to do is say how bush did everything wrong, i dont like bush either, but just not buying oil aint gone do shit. they wouldve bombed again and we wouldve lost more lives. i hate this asshole

  • I am willing to begin drilling in ANWR. 2,000 acres is a small price to pay. Now, what are YOU going to do to free us from the axis of powerthirsty Congresspeople?

  • Save an oil tanker, Ride a horse.

  • What can we do?

  • I'm going to vote for Ron Paul so we can return to a true free market. If the price of oil needs to go up then it needs to go up. Americans are resourceful but Washington doesn't seem to think so. Let the market dictate our dependency on oil without gov't regulation.

  • in general I agree that the consumers and suppliers regulate the market. but in this case an increased demand for oil would mean an increased meddling of the US in foreign countries (especially mid-eastern)in order to secure the oil, which is exactly what we have to avoid so the lunes won't retaliate again. this is what Ron Paul would tell you as well!! He's probably the only courageous Republican right now.

  • this guy's right

  • very easy: cut ties with big oil lobbyists, increase funding for research on renewable energy. Unfortunately this will hardly work. We all know that Houston's booming right now due to the oil industry--we will never break that vicious circle. Please watch Syriana and you'll know that this is a Quixotic task. Good luck though Mr Biden, maybe I'll vote for you!

  • why does the government need to fund alternative energy, if it is worth researching, the free market would be all over it

  • We don't live in a free market we live in a managed economy.

  • Save the Whales!

  • Yes, save the whales!!!

Also, SAVE THE LIGERS!!! (the whales too) haha, Napolean Dynomite rules...

  • I'd just put little wind turbines on our vehicles, they'd spin like crazy while driving. They'd just power your battery or something, and you could drive forever...

    (does this sound childish?) lol

  • they would decrease your gas mileage by as much power they'd put out.

  • DONT VOTE CLINTON THATS ALL WE NEED IS ANOTHER NUTCASE FOR us leader

  • Release Meyer's patents and research his overunity claims. Publish it openly.

    Vote libertarian.

  • Yes Mr. Biden we need to stop the use of oil asap. But I did not hear any ideas from you? Are you soliciting ideas? Increase Methanol production 100 fold. Promote the use of alternative fuel cars only. Boycott all oil import from terror states like Iran now.

  • Mr. Biden, good question to pose to your potential voters. However, I have a better question for you:

WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE TO BREAK YOUR DEPENDENCE ON ZIONIST INFLUENCE IN YOUR GOVT? SUCH AS GROUPS LIKE AIPAC AND THE MEDIA WITH ZIONIST RUPERT MURDOCH, AS ONE EXAMPLE.

  • gringos suck

  • I met him in the Capitol Building in March, i hope he wins

  • Joe,

Why don't you send me an email and I'll think about voteing for you.

    Thank you,

    Vernon Perry

  • Why the fuck did you give out your street address...

That's not the safest thing to do, smart one...

  • yall politicans need to do something now instead of always being so divided on major issues that are seriously world changing. This is not a game and there is not much time before america will really feel the effects of oil shortage. newer energy solutions need to be developed now and put into use. its an obvious solution of what needs to be done and if yall aren't gonna make the neccessary changes then america will soon be known as another failed empire.

  • Well, Mr. Biden, I'll tell you what I propose to do! I plan to vote Democrat in '08.

  • 1. Pass legislation, effective immediately, for tax incentives stimulating development of alternative fuels. 2. Double the federal tax on gasoline. 3. Tax SUVs out of existence. 4. Allign with the religious right to start preaching against rape of the earth to harvest dwendling fossile fuel: it's immoral. 5. Let your campaign expose the long, cozy history shared by the Bushes and the bin Ladens, reaching back several generations.

  • dude, Anything anyone might suggests here has been done in the Reagan Administration. In the eighties after the "oil shortage" of the seventies the Reagan Administration promoted alternative energy resources then suddenly after all their cronies bought up the patents, hid new ideas and they stash the innovative ideas away. And the radical Muslims...the sharpen their swords to put against our necks.

  • Hmmm. Let's see. Turn off the electricity. Stop driving automobiles, flying in airplanes, boating. There!!!!

    That'll save the planet.

Of course, we will have no jobs, no economy, but who cares? At least we will save the planet. For whom?

It will become the planet of the apes, birds, plants, fish. Fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • get a life hes not saying stop driving your car hes saying find alternative fuel sources like cold fusion or solar power conservative asshole

  • get a brain.

If you knew anything at all about energy consumption and physics you would know that cold fusion will NEVER happen, and solar power is so inefficient (even with the latest technology) that you will be lucky to generate 1/1000th of our energy needs at the present level in about a century.

Now, if you want NOW, do what I said.

  • Those are not economically viable alternatives dufus! Why didn't you mention chipmunk power. WAKE UP and start dealing with reality.

  • Joe, President Kennedy is dead, God rest his soul. Quit conjuring up his name with some nonsense scenario to help your political agenda. You tell us what you've done personally to become less oil dependent. It's a supply demand issue. Oil companies do what they do best, make profits. They are going to ride this thing out to the end. I will let the air out of Hummer tires in the mean time.

  • Uh, Joe - John Kennedy wasn't president after 9/11.

  • i thought he said "just imagine IF it happen"

  • Exactly. What good is it gonna do to "imagine" JFK as president in 2001?

  • Joe, I thought it was the axes of Evil not Oil. All the hair you have transplanted over the years gave a funny looking helmet head. Joe, you talk way to much and you are not as smart as you think you are.

  • dude - he had brain surgery - how about easy up a bit jerk

  • Easy up? Are you serious? Have you seen the way Joe has demonized the president and republicans over the last 5 years let alone the last 20? He has been one of the meanest politicians in Washington making a living being a jerk. Before you call me one look at your boy Joe who has made a career out of being a Jerk

  • good because rebuplicans are little bitches

  • Bear my children?

  • Biden is ok. Ron Paul is better...

  • 1. Get off the grid as much as possible:

    a. Install solar panels on my roof & in my yard to power & heat & cool my house. b. Install a rain water collection system. c. plant more trees d. drive an all electric car which i can plug into my solar powered charger e. I'm willing to bike if bike lanes were established f. telecommute. g. I will grow a vegtable garden h. I will eat less meat, poultry, pork, & dairy which are energy & resource intensive to produce.

  • No offense, but the average Democrat is much too stupid to vote for someone like Joe Biden. Now being a staunch Republican and having Bush as my President, I get what your all thinking. But seriously, Hillary? Obama? FREAKING EDWARDS? Are you kidding me? Biden is a principled guy, and while I don't see myself ever voting for him, I think he gives the Democrats a good name, unlike the twits that make up the majority of the party.

  • I feel sorry for the Joe Biden fans and supporters that have to read most of the garabage responses. The "average" American is sick and pathetic. Just look at the crap that they have written on UTUBE.

I would reduce my driving and change my overuse of oil, if the politicians would first expose the oil companies for gouging and fixing prices. I also want a tax on these windfall profits. I'm sick of the politicians asking for sacrifices instead of going after these greedy corporations. .

  • First of all, open up all suppressed sciences in relation to alternative energy technology. For as long this is not done, there won't be a second step after.

  • One cool thing about the Senator's YouTube is that he hasn't censored any of the negative comments about him.[Unlike Hilary's site, which over-censors or doesn't even allow replies on most videos] That takes guts. I d
