  • very good job man , thanx for the video :)

  • @vctf1980 Thank you for the view and comment

  • Quick question.......Have you replaced the radiator yet?

  • @XMP991 Yes we had once.

  • @PlanesTrainsAutos you all are gonna go through at least 5 of them. we had an explorer and we barely drove it and within 2 months, we had to replace it 7 times.

  • @XMP991 Oh gosh :/

  • @PlanesTrainsAutos Take your truck to a dealer and have the trans fluid checked (only a dealer can check it, most small garages don't have a clue). I say that because you check it from under the truck with it running through a set up ford made to keep people from putting the wrong fluid in( which caused trans problems by using wrong type of fluid) That light will come on when trans fluid is low as well as other reasons.

  • @XMP991 bought one with 30k miles and as 87k with no radiator replacements.. However the shifter sticks at random times, that the only problem its ever giving and that's not a big problem just annoying.

Every one says the truck is bad because "people say" the radiators go bad easy.. Well that's just a part, replace it with a better radiator and stop putting factory in it.. Overall i love the truck, its goes where i need it to go (in snow, in mud wherever i want to go with out problem).

  • @pcfd20 The most common reason the shifter is sticking is because of a bad throttle positioning sensor. you can try and go to auto zone or advance auto parts. they should have them.

I still have an aftermarket radiator in my limited explorer and i barely drive it and the radiator is going bad. so that tells u even aftermarket radiators cant calm down the explorers' urge to waste radiators.

  • @XMP991 I'm not sure its a throttle positioning sensor since the light goes at once moved from reverse(the park, reverse, drive lighted part). Some times tapping on it makes the light come back on, I'm thinking lose wire some where under there causing it. About the aftermarket radiator I'm going on how my buddy explorer is doing with an aftermarket one. I still have the factory in mine at 88k now, maybe luck.

  • @pcfd20 When you press the brake, is it hard to shift. Also, when you are at a red light, does it jerk when you take your foot off the brake. if any of these problems happen to you, then it is DEFINITELY the TPS.

  • @pcfd20 I get the stuck shifter once and awhile, but i shut the car off and restart it seems to get it unstuck

  • @XMP991 There is always a "lemmon" in everything.

  • The light that was on the far right ment your gas cap was open

  • Thinkin about gettin one. I just dont like how theyre long and narrow. Not attractive... And gas mileage...

  • @FreshNapp I don't think they look that bad but thats just my opinion but I could understand the gas thing. But it also depends what you need your vehicle for. If you need to carry people and stuff in the back/ tow this will work great!

  • @PlanesTrainsAutos Oh nevermind. I just read the reviews and apparently its well known that this is a HORRIBLE vehicle. Every review was another person saying how they went through 3 radiators and crappy transmission and windows not working and whatnot. No wonder I found an 06 with 70k miels for just ten grand. You get what you pay for. I'm gonna look at Yukon's and Tahoe's now that have much better reviews. Sorry, Ford Exploder.

  • @FreshNapp Haha yeah i forgot we went through one radiator, you reminded me lol

  • @FreshNapp 17-18 around town, 20-21 highway set at 80mph (interstate). Its the best rig i have driven through snow/ice conditions and off road through muddy conditions. I can back down my driver on ice and stop, then drive back up it with out using 4x4 high (its auto 4x4). I love it since it gets me where i need to go in any weather conditions. I notice during summer with all 4 windows rolled down it looks sharp (maybe that's just me).

  • The frist light on the gage u said u didnt kno 2 the left is the check engine light..but yall prob already notice that by now..nice suv hopin 2 get 1

  • @800wuan Thanks! The car was just so knew that i hadn't have a clue but know i know everyone lol

  • thats not a car its a garbage dumper....man what good is a new car with a lot of crap every where.... my new ford 2007 is clean has nothing on the seats or on the floor common man whats going on

  • @usarodriguez16 not my car not my responsibility.

  • I have a 2009 explorer el edition its awesome a tv a power folding chair and a gps and rear camera for baking up. I'm waiting to get a camera so i can make my very own video.

  • Nice you got good features with it

  • Very nice! I am going to get one in the next few weeks. By the way on the center counsole that button with a picture of the car and skidding tracks is your traction control button. The two by the guages, the left one is the check engine light which doesnt say much but you take it to a dealer and they can tell you what is wrong and the right light is the gas cap open light. If its on then your gas cap is not sealing right.

  • watch the transmissions on those. they go out VERY easily.

  • clean me out

  • Rich I am use to it by now. Doesn't phase me.

  • lol

  • Also, u have all kinds of lights going on...."Check Engine"...."Need Oil"...."Gas Cap Open"......lol

  • Yeah I looked them all up and they went away now so I am glad.

  • We just purchased an 06 a few weeks an we ar loving it! Have you tested ur "RCS Tracking" thingy...

  • Yeah works Great!!

  • asesome car... hope we get on renting at lax next year!

  • Thanks i like it to :)
