BBC (UK) News Streaming to USA via Slingbox

If I set up a sling box in My wife's parents house and then leave Japan. Will we be able to different channels to what her family are watching. Or will this lead to some kind of intercontenental channel changing war which as we all know would ultimately break the family apart :)

@aaron85077 It will unfortunately cause some conflict. However, if you purchase the slingbox pro, that has a built-in-tuner for basic cable or freeview (digital terrestrial tv)... so all you need to do for that one is plug in a coaxial cable and tune it and you'll never have any conflict of viewing.
