The side walls and floor are two layers of 1" thick acrylic, cut to shape. They were screwed together on the corners and glued with a special "acrylic weld" glue and sealed with silicone. The top was 1/4 acrylic i believe, also glued in place with the weld glue. This was definitely not an easy project, I was not involved in the billing, but I would guess it was upwards of $8000 for construction and materials.
