Definitely the greatest match between India and Pakistan. I stil remember how heart broken i felt after the last wicket. This is Sachin's greatest inning in test cricket and no doubt about that and there was a similar ODI innings very recently against Australia of 175. This is what Sachin did pulling out a near victory out of impossible and I say near because there was never any support from the other end through out that 90's decade when I must say match fixing was rampant.

It was one of the most powerful Indian batting lineups...Upto no10 Srinath, everyone could bat well. I remember this match...Credit to Pakistan...and the Chennai crowd was just awesome..all should learn from them. I remember Pakistan crowds also giving good reception to Indian team.

Pakistani crowds were fantastic when India won in Pakistan in 2004. Being very reasonable, I would have to say that Pakistan has no history of crowd trouble.

Lol and the English and Aussies still think that Ashes is the biggest rivalry! Nothing beats India vs Pakistan! Ratings don't matter here. Even if India being the number 1 test side plays Pakistan right now it will be very very close and I won't be surprised if Pakistan wins it. Just like India beat a strong Pakistan in Bangalore 1996.
