  • breathtakingly beautiful, too bad I dont understand swedish.

  • So much of Jussi B's work is quite simply staggering. Here we go again!

  • Wonderful singer.

    God Bless him!

  • Che classe! Il più grande tenore di sempre:

  • Such pure voice, makes me choke.

  • Merrihew,,,,,so it is with all of us sadly

  • Bjoerling is the Tenor by which any serious student of Opera should aspire and learn from!

  • At 21 he's already a great master!

  • Another gem for the crown!

  • Wonderful! I love Jussi. I love tango - especially Francisco Canaro.

  • This is just gorgeous!!!

  • I forgot to say How popular Tango was in the '30, in Europe! (and US, like early X. Cugat Orch. recordings)

  • I invite you to my Cugat's in the post 'Rain in Spain'.

  • Ok I am going to look ...

  • Wow! J, excellent sound and artist.

  • Unbelievable that he was so young when this was recorded. There's a freshness that faded over the subsequent years.

  • Yes when he came to the Opera School in Stockholm at 17 they were all amazed. He already sounded like a real tenor! And why? Because their father (who was a tenor) trained him and his brothers every day throughout all of their child-hood! (even massaging their throats so that they were able to sing all through their teens.)They all sounded like tenors from the start! (in a recording done when he was 9 you can recognize his voice.)

  • The gorgeous voice of young Bjorling. Delightful.
