This is actually a cover of the 1932 Bing Crosby song by Billie Holiday. Bing Crosby co-wrote the lyrics with Ned Washington. The music is by Victor Young ("Stella By Starlight)". The original song had a preamble usually omitted in covers. In my view, Bing Crosby's original version is the best performance of this song.
I love this song! played it in Jazz band when I was in high school :) And I really love this movie! sad movie but great!
