This threw me at first, I wasn't aware of Public Imitation Limited. I wondered how Keith and Jah could look current yet JL still look he did in the 1980's (the voice and mannerisms are spot on). Levene and Wobble have played a blinder here. Every credit to them.
thats fucking uncanny! I had heard levene was doing this, are you sure that is wobble though? Couldnt see him doing this. But shit that is so johnny rotten its frightening!
@SPExJR It's not going to happen. PiL's problems (Lydon, Levene, Wobble) have always as far as I can tell been about money. Mainly the fact that Lydon's made millions and yet Levene and Wobble believe they are still owed money by him. If this is true and reading Wobble's book I'm inclined to believe that it is, then I feel Lydon's behaviour is utterly contemptible and hypocritical considering that his bitterness towards McLaren was supposedly for exactly the same reason.
@MisAnnThorpe i agree with most of that, i do think its just lydon for the money, alot of the things he says is very contradicting, he forgets the lies he's told and says sometihng different a few months later. wobbles book is great, i think levene should do his own book too.
Amazing to see what Levene and Wobble do with this song after 30 plus additional years of musicianship. They changed it, ever so subtly. And to throw in the guy on the left (what is he playing?), it all comes together in a new form. As for Johnny Rotter, he mixes the verses and plants them exactly like Lydon once did. I always had the impression that early PiL songs were hard to sing, and Rotter pulls it off. He ought to get a lot of credit for this, too.
@BLIDKIN I am surprised that Wobble and Levene buried the hatchet after such a long time after not talking. You are right, and they are all brilliant in this song. Wobble really is now classed as a bass hero and Levene was always good, but had his problems and good to see him back. But Johnny Rotter deserves plaudits for this performance
@8i11 No, it IS Johnny Rotter. Check SPExJR channel - He is the real rotter from Public Imitation Limited / Sex Pistols Experience and Purpose In Life.
is that guy on the left playing a gum leaf?

I'd love to see these guys play! The lead singer nails the vocals.

Amazed Wobble would agree to have anyone other than Lydon out front ... love to see the boys back but without John, ain't right for me.

As this has more real PiL members than the recent 'PiL' reunion, maybe they should start billing themselves as...PiL !

@MOSTechnology it would be nice, i wish 1 or 2 members would have a phone call and sort things out and move on so they can do this again.!
