Now I won't go into why they would'nt make F1 cars fwd and thats a terrible example by the way, but all it takes is common sense to realize this. Also, even if the mustang is faster around the track, it took them years to do this and do anything other than go in a straight line and waste gas.

If you knew your shit you would know that a 06 si that weights less than 3000 pounds would have a better chance from a dig than from a roll where the stang doesn't has to fight traction issues. Once I raced a modified twin turbo s80 from a dig and he kicked my ass, then we tried from a roll and I won hands down

I always tell people compare the Japanese truck line with American truck lines. not much of a difference and all their engines are actually behind. it's a cost effective thing. Which is why most of the Japanese sport line is next to nonexistent.

some ppl dont get it, 4cly can never be as good as a v8! yes cheaper to run&more reliable but there unbelievably slow compared to a v8 stock vs stock. yes if you spend some money and some time it can go faster then a v8 but then you lose everything you had before, reliability is now worse, less mpg's, and worst of all you sound like a ricer! with a supercharged v8 ppl can enjoy the sound you make, with a civic with a fart can everyone is annoyed when you drive by. dare some one to say otherwise

@NitroGadvRules consider what you are saying before opening your mouth...it takes an extremely well designed rwd car to beat a fwd in the slalom,fyi the ZR1 corvette is barely(maybe 2 mph) faster in the slalom than an 8th gen civic...and no mustang to date is faster than the ZR1.The mustang is also plagued with a heavier overall weight and an ancient suspesion setup reminecent of farm trucks in the 50's.

@NitroGadvRules fwd is great for handling,as an average, rwd is better, some are terrible and some are awesome, but alot of fwd cars can handle pretty well. Now I won't go into why they would'nt make F1 cars fwd and thats a terrible example by the way, but all it takes is common sense to realize this. Also, even if the mustang is faster around the track, it took them years to do this and do anything other than go in a straight line and waste gas.

Funny that you think professional drivers are the ones they use when creating a car's stats. Most good driver average about .4 seconds faster than the car is rated and some have gotten in the low 14's bone stock. @Arayanrevenge I do have vids uploaded and I can actually upload a vid of my stock GT beating an 06 si with 8 psi of boost, and fyi rolls are the strong point for GT's, mach's, or cobras. If you knew your shit you would know that a 06 si that weights less than 3000 pounds would have a better chance from a dig than from a roll where the stang doesn't has to fight traction issues. Once I raced a modified twin turbo s80 from a dig and he kicked my ass, then we tried from a roll and I won hands down

Motor trend says you can do a 12.7 quarter with a 2011 5.0 mustang and ive only ever seen a 12.8 never faster stock. with tires intake tune exhaust yes but never on a stocker...

I always tell people compare the Japanese truck line with American truck lines. not much of a difference and all their engines are actually behind. it's a cost effective thing.
