Anyone of us who has ever attempted to cover or play this tune knows how difficult it is. The song seems so simple, as do many of GL's tunes, but...not so much when you sit down and get the axes out. You guys sounds great.

the best compliment is imitation now. Get a steel guitar and have him play that loud drone as a chorus like Pee wee Charles did untill Gordon told him to tone it down. That used to send chils up my spine and no one ever did it like that. It was becoming a signature sound. I complained to Pee Wee and he told me Gord told him to cool t.

GL came here to OKC a few months back. I have heard recent recordings of the legend, bless his heart he still sings the songs with soul but his voice has changed over the years. I would rather see you play. Someone needs to forward your covers to GL. Im sure he would be proud! Take care.
