whats with all these people going to god for solutions?
"hey god, i have a problem so please give me the solution"...does that really work? all that really matters is logic and reasoning. Where do they get these stupid questioner? Its part of the president's tittle to live for the people. You make decisions based on people's interest not on your own Personal Beliefs
Well the fact you support Obama explains why you would be for Mitt, as I have stated before they are basically the same. Thanks for proving my point. Mitt Romney is no conservative and will just give us more of the same that we have had for the past 12 + years. You may be ok with that but I'm pretty sure most Americans would like something better. Mitt=Obama
Ron Paul= freedom, peace, prosperity - a better America.
@ChristianPhysicist Clearly you need to improve your reading comprehension skills as you continue to show that you can't follow a conversation and you read in things that aren't there. You also continue to show your lack of knowledge of our country, it's founders/foundation, the constitution, what church leaders have said and politics in general. And no way is Romney going to be the next President. Keep dreaming.
@peaceliberty4all and you are clearly mixing religion with politics. You are trying to use my beliefs to pesuade me to vote for Ron Paul, but gladly church leader haven't said anything. Church leaders do not endorse candidates.

I will vote for Mitt Romney if he wins the GOP, but I will gladly accept 4 more years of Obama if he wins. Obama and Romney are probably smarter than Paul.
constitution doesn't make him right but the fact that he acts according to that knowledge does. The fact that he won't continue to take away the liberties that were fought for makes him right. The fact he won't continue to spend us into oblivion, or police the world, or tell people how to live makes him right. That he will get rid of the fed and secure our borders and put the American people first makes him right. The fact that he has the best chance of anyone to beat Obama makes him right.

@peaceliberty4all Do you know why the Republican Party is so silly?? Because they mix religion with politics too much, that's why Romney has not lock up the nomination.

Where RP might lose against Obama is with the younger generation regardless of his younger fan base because children are growing up in a more left wing environment in schools and other public areas. The left is exponentially more outspoken than the right and that is what our younger generation hears so I think the argument of having bigger younger fan base may be in Obama's favor. @motox3rider13 I'm sorry but all we have is our opinion. Case in point, you just posted your opinion to mine, then complained that I excersized my opinion, see how that works? I think the mainstream media is lifting up a certain candidate to be the nominee because they know theyll lose to Obama.....i think the mainstream media wants an Obama 2nd term
once again people this is a obvious answer if most of the candidates have nothing to say to paul and agree on his answers. Then he is the right candidate common sense JUST LOOK AT ALL THE CANDIDATES VOTING RECORDS AND COMPARE FOR YOUR SELF
Newt talked about being guided by God! Your claim to be a Christian, Newt, is about as close to dispicable as I can imagine. Your guided by your cock, which is guided by Satan. Go worship your fucking owl in the redwoods with all the other NeoCon, fascists.
Ron Paul is like a worn out record. He says some of the most stupid things like $0 taxes. Not possible. But its great because it does not requrie any thought. He is a master of sound bites.
@CWSMTB he says 0 income tax-how the us went from being nothing to the world super power-what is it exactly the goverment needs half my money for-if you believe in smaller goverment you can only achieve that by cutting the amount of our money they can take. If not then like both the gop and the dems it's just a debate on what you get to do with others money.
@CWSMTB Ummm, my grandfather is alive today and was born in a time with no income tax. It is certainly possible to fund the legitimate forms of government with no income tax.
Newt Gingrich is the very definition of corrupt politician. This guy is really really bad news. He is a disgusting, vile, and repugnant person. If republicans nominate him they're finished for good, and then we only have to worry about bringing down the democrat party. I really would love to see both the republicrat and demican parties collapse. Newt Gingrich looks like a pregnant baby.
Santorum sounds really good but sounding good isn't enough. Obama is a prime example. He sounded good but what he said and did are two very different things. For example he attacked Romney and Gingrich about forcing people to buy a product (health insurance) when he is guilty of doing the same thing. Look up Pennsylvania newspaper "Morning Call" and the words "Candidates Diverge On Health Care Remedies".
I like that Ron Paul was given more chances to answer questions first. It really helped in making clear the many ways in which he contrasts with the other candidates. He would give great sensible answers and we were able to see how the next candidate would swing the issue way over to the right. He is very electable. I think the only reason the Christian right doesn't latch onto him is because he doesn't throw his religious views into all governmental issues. He comes off as more of an atheist
@Zzzeem I think for some of the Christian right that's the case. But I think the main reason why the Christian right are reluctant to give Paul their vote is because they fear radical Islam and they have sided with the neoconservatives that America should preemptively attack Iran, which Paul would not do. Just watch Pat Robertson.
Mitt Romney doesn't want them to "change chairs" in Washington??? He'd be the biggest "chair changing" mistake! He should be running against Barack Obama. . . as a DEMOCRAT!
@captainbaby3 True! The media is pushing Romney because he's Obama lite. "Mitt by his own admission voted for Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale who opposed my father, and later supported liberal Democrat Paul Tsongas for president." - Michael Reagan
Damm... santorum kept attacking both newt & mitt. And he did very good tonight but barely attacked ron paul. Why? Cuz he knows that the old guy is much wiser on some things ...id actially like to see them battle it out.. paul vs santorum
@dontshootmesanta -- he didn't attack Paul because he can't. Paul doesn't have the Big government records that both Romney and Gingrich do. Not only that, he knows that Paul will then expose him (Santorum) of the same things he is accusing Romney and Gingrich of--like the government mandated health insurance. Santorum is pro-Big government also. If you pay attention to his answers, you will notice that his solutions gravitate to government intervention.
Hey Romney you arrogant ahole, we dont need to share our values with anyone, other countries have their own values, lets get off the worlds back and stop butchering innocent civilians abroad to 'spread freedom' to them. Of course what we are really doing is stealing their resources.
What's the reasoning behind the positioning of the candidates. Why are Ron Paul and Rick Santorum positioned on the outside in every debate with Mitt and Newt next to each other in the middle?
@horgyboy no... i think it's the ones who get the best spots tend to lead the polls. Your causal relationships are reversed. Diabetes causes people to get fat right?
@ThoseWhoStayUofM No Diabetis does not cause people to get fat! Being over weight can complicate your condition &cause other problems. Many thin people are diabetic! As for as the polls, I thought it has to do with the people aproached to be a part of the poll!
@sdlee81 "No Diabetes does not cause people to get fat!"
Wow... that's because BEING FAT CAUSES DIABETES!!! If you are over-weight, you are vastly more likely to become diabetic!!! GET IT!!! If you have a favorable position in a political debate, you are vastly more likely to lead in polls. IT'S NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND! omg... you are so unintelligent. I can't even bear to talk to you anymore.
@ThoseWhoStayUofM -- to make them look like outsiders. The media, especially CNN, are not unbiased news outlets. There use to be a wall of separation between government and media but not anymore. Everything they do is orchestrated to steer public opinion.
@farber207 No it isn't. There is no such basis. Any correlation that we see is simply a result of the fact that those who have the more favorable stage position often do better in the polls. Like I said to another commenter, does diabetes cause obesity?
I wonder if there is a general consensus to ignore Ron Paul. Non of the other candidates question him on anything or mention him on any of their time to speak. They make it seem like Gingritch and Romney hate each other put the only reason why they keep mentioning each other and is to maximise their air time in the process making it seem that it is a two horse race.
wow there are a lot of fucking paulbots posting comments on all these videos. i like ron paul too guys but he has not a chance in hell of beating obama in the general election. though not perfect, romney is the only guy that can beat obama and rational people understand that period
@BraveNewWorld76 Maybe that's what they want us all to believe, they have been saying that since the day one. I thought the people decided elections not news corps.
@BraveNewWorld76 The nomination is the hardest part for Paul because neoconservative Republicans hate his foreign policy, which is what makes up most of the Republican base now. However, if he by some miracle won the nomination he could defeat Obama because Republicans who want to defeat Obama will support the nominee whoever it is and Paul is able to garner the Independent, Blue Republican, and Libertarian vote. Something Romney cannot do.
@housecry -- I agree. I wish the neo-cons/corporatist would start their own party. I look at Romney and think, the man is not a true Republican. If he was, he would not have created Romneycare--the blue print for Obamacare. Forcing people to buy a product (under the guise of "helping them") is corporatism--the merging of government and business.
i am european. i got cancer. i have to pay nothing for the treatment. nothing! our social security system works perfectly well. these guys here are so far away from the peoples needs. obama is not the right one, but he is far far better then these candidates.
It seems that Ron Paul is slowly changing some of Romney's views. He wasn't saying our government is getting to big a few months ago. Or he is just saying it to snake Ron Paul supporters. Either way, I will continue to support Ron Paul, unless Ron Paul does not get the Republican nomination, then I'll go with Romney. Even if Ron Paul chooses to fun for a third party, because third parties never win. Gingrich is a slimy criminal. Santorum has major emotional problems, not a safe president.
I watched this whole thing, and I'm pretty sure I have my vote locked. Ron Paul is.... well... you didn't see those guys refute or attack him a single time. Even THEY know they'll lose to the no-bullshit sense he makes. Even still, Gingrich is a clear loser here. The other two... Santorum seems like less of a business snake. He's pretty cock-strong, though, and that might be go against his better judgement. I think all this country really needs, is someone who makes some damn sense.
I like Ron Paul...he seems more sensible than any other candidate and much smarter as well. And depending on how this next year goes, I may vote for him if he is the nominee...In fact, as much as Obama has done and considering where he started, he has done as much as humanly possible, I think if Ron won the presidency, the first year would be pretty tough for everyone...but after that, I think we would have years of sustained prosperity.
From there...they proceeded to fight everything for 2 years! It wasn't until just this last year that Obama started going over their heads and appealing to the public that things started to get done. The first 2 years big things got done...but when the republicans gained the house, everything has grinded to a halt...now, maybe its policy differences...the problem with that argument is much of what Obama has tried, has been done by other presidents before and not called socialist or stupid...
I'd everyone to think about this...in 2009, as with every president, the president gives congress a list of presidential appointments. They high ranking ones get scrutinized, but usually the lower ranking ones (white house clerks and appointments like that) get approved right away. The president had approx. 200 + appointments he needed considered and do you know the republicans block almost every single one of them? Even the clerks?
-> So, if Ron Paul is a threat...and we know he is...AND he's white and the establishment is doing this to him out of, hell, I don't know...I guess fear of losing power, influence or being able to hoard vasts amounts of resources for themselves and people like themselves, do you think just for a moment that the same establishment wants a black president to be successful? Do you think they even want to be led by someone not like them? It's just a question and something to consider...
-> because he takes virtually all the power away from every established white run group or agency in the U.S. And I am not saying that as a negative or anything...I mean it is what it is and it's fact. I mean, hell, there were virtually no people of color in government or as CEO's or anyone of color in the republican party or a part of the Military Industrial complex, so its factual to say, they are mostly white...cont ->
Ron Paul did very well...You know, I don't know if the gridlock in washington is due partly to Obama's race but I can say, if an entire, almost republican sponsored news agency (FOX) will try and block a white candidate (Ron Paul) and insist on saying things like, he's not serious, or he's not in it for the long haul or simply ignore him, then why would the republican party not make it more difficult for Obama? I mean they don't want to be led by Ron...cont ->
Santorum cannot beat Obama. He will get 0% of the Liberal vote and will lose many of the libertarian vote based on his social views on abortion and gay-marriage.
Gingrich cannot beat Obama. He preaches values but has little to show that backs up his. America looks at ethics at the end of the day and Newt falls short in this category.
Romney cannot beat Obama. He does not contrast Obama enough in important issues and has changed his position on too many issues.
Santorum, agreed. Gingrich, agreed. Romney, not so much. Why would he have to contrast Obama? The reasons you give for the others not beating Obama is that they are too far right to vie for the centrist or liberal vote. Romney can compete. He would have to get right-wingers to vote for him as well, but they're not voting for Obama in any case, so they are held on to, if barely. Then again, Paul? He has the same problem as the other non-romneys: he will not resonate with the center.
Ron Paul gives the most honest, sincere answers. His answer on faith was the best and is backed up by everything he does. Newt and Romney are just suck ups saying what they think people want to hear or what will get them elected. I find it insulting that the 3 stooges spoke so much about the constitution they have shown they lack knowledge of and continually have shown disregard for.
@TheWarlordinmars Well Warlord I can guarantee you won't be laughing if Obama, Santorum, Gingrich or Romney is our next president, unless of course you are one of the elite.
I reply to you in different videos, so I can make sure you received my message.
So I have a question for you, since we know that some doctors have made huge mistakes, should we stop trusting them??
Since there has been corrupt cops, should the government take out the Police Department??
Do you think you know more than the CIA?? Like I said before, it's highly unlikely that they will commit the same huge mistake twice, in such a short period
@ChristianPhysicist I was really hoping you weren't LDS. So if you are and you believe in following the "experts" I suggest you take the time to look up what the leaders of the church past and present (especially Benson) have said regarding the Constitution, our gov't and what type of ppl we should elect to office. BTW they all describe Ron Paul NOT Mitt and you can check your BOM for foreign policy as well. I guess if you beieve so strongly in following experts you will be voting RP.
@ChristianPhysicist I wasn't using religion for anything. I just found it interesting that you kept bringing up how important it is to listen to the experts but you either feel the church leaders aren't expert enough or you only believe it important to listen to the experts when it suits you. That is all I was saying. I could care less who you vote for. I don't doubt Mitt will be the GOP nominee or that he will lose to Obama. But win or lose the country is in the same mess either way.
@ChristianPhysicist Not sure why you feel the need to act as though I posted something I did not. Perhaps you should go back and re-read the posts for better comprehension. I never implied any endorsement of any party or specific candidate. But if you did know what the leaders have said in the past you would have plenty of good reasons to support RP. You clearly just don't get what I am saying because of your lack of knowledge in this area. You are correct RP knowing alot about the con
@peaceliberty4all Are you insinuating that "big banks and corporations" are not people? Or that support from them is less valuable than "the people", by which I assume you mean "working people"? The Supreme Court has ruled that corporations are people and have a right to express themselves as such. You are just repeating the same old mantra of AstroTurf campaigns like Ron Paul's.
@TheWarlordinmars you're talking shit about Ron Paul and yet your username is "PeaceLiberty4all" LMFAO!! That's exactly what Ron Paul stands for, and he is the ONLY one who stands for that and the one who has been very consistent throughout his career! SANTORUM=GINGRICH=ROMNEY=OBAMA=> STATUS QUO! RON PAUL FOR PEACE, LIBERTY, AND PROSPERITY! RON PAUL 2012!
@TheWarlordinmars you got it ALL wrong, single digit IQ fucktards are the ones that vote for the status que! people need to quit trying to pick a winner and pick the RIGHT man for the job! RON PAUL 2012!!
@frankberris yeah fucktard....single digit IQ fucktards like you vote for single digit losers like Ron Paul....btw, have you noticed dickhead Paul surrendered Florida? fucking loser
@TheWarlordinmars ya know bud, it's mental midgets like yourself that try to vote for a winner instead of educating yourself and voting in the right man for the job that got this country in the mess it's in! and what kinda of response is that any how? are you 12 yrs old? you need to EDUCATE yourself son, you CAN NOT come to a battle of whits unarmed! RON PAUL 2012!!
@frankberris hey dingleBERRIS...where's the old coot in Florida? uh-huh....you just keep repeating the paultard zombie mantra "RON PAUL 2012" ...add a little pixie dust and wave your fairy wand too. fucking dildo
@peaceliberty4all absolutely true! and the REALLY sad part is that MOST of Americans don't have a clue what REAL liberties and freedoms are. hell we been lied to our whole lives! unconstitutional taxes, the federal reserve, licenses and permits for everything! can you imagine asking George Washington and Thomas Jefferson for their licenses or better yet their FOID cards! those men KNEW what true liberty and freedom was! all we have is the idea of what it is these days! RON PAUL 2012!!
@frankberris There are many things that exist today that didn't in Wahington & Jefferson's day. I personally am thankfull we are mandated to have a driver License, Dr. Lic. , Engineer Lic., Pilotes Lic. and many others. They just shouldn't cost so much, or some at all. Just take the test to proove you have the ablity & knowledge to do the job!
@sdlee81 fair enough bud, but the fact is that what DOES NOT EXIST these days is true liberty and personal freedom that we are supposed to have, our "god given, unalienable rights". RON PAUL 2012!!
Romney terrifies me. he was a businessman who aims to win. I get impression that he is a manipulative person who would say what he has to to win.

The GOP does NOT want Ron Paul to be the nominee because he will undermine everything that they REALLY are doing.

Nikolaika77 1 month ago

Zzzeem 1 month ago
@Zzzeem Comes off more as a constitutional following president
jkraze3 1 month ago
@Zzzeem I think for some of the Christian right that's the case. But I think the main reason why the Christian right are reluctant to give Paul their vote is because they fear radical Islam and they have sided with the neoconservatives that America should preemptively attack Iran, which Paul would not do. Just watch Pat Robertson.

dontshootmesanta 1 month ago 7
@dontshootmesanta -- he didn't attack Paul because he can't. Paul doesn't have the Big government records that both Romney and Gingrich do. Not only that, he knows that Paul will then expose him (Santorum) of the same things he is accusing Romney and Gingrich of--like the government mandated health insurance. Santorum is pro-Big government also. If you pay attention to his answers, you will notice that his solutions gravitate to government intervention.

What's the reasoning behind the positioning of the candidates. Why are Ron Paul and Rick Santorum positioned on the outside in every debate with Mitt and Newt next to each other in the middle?
ThoseWhoStayUofM 1 month ago
@ThoseWhoStayUofM Because the ones who leads the polls get's the best spots:)
horgyboy 1 month ago
@horgyboy no... i think it's the ones who get the best spots tend to lead the polls. Your causal relationships are reversed. Diabetes causes people to get fat right?
ThoseWhoStayUofM 1 month ago
@ThoseWhoStayUofM No Diabetis does not cause people to get fat! Being over weight can complicate your condition &cause other problems. Many thin people are diabetic! As for as the polls, I thought it has to do with the people aproached to be a part of the poll!
sdlee81 1 month ago
@sdlee81 "No Diabetes does not cause people to get fat!"
Wow... that's because BEING FAT CAUSES DIABETES!!! If you are over-weight, you are vastly more likely to become diabetic!!! GET IT!!! If you have a favorable position in a political debate, you are vastly more likely to lead in polls. IT'S NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND! omg... you are so unintelligent. I can't even bear to talk to you anymore.

@ThoseWhoStayUofM Their stage position is based on their position in the polls, right now Newt and Mitt are leading.
farber207 1 month ago
@farber207 No it isn't. There is no such basis. Any correlation that we see is simply a result of the fact that those who have the more favorable stage position often do better in the polls. Like I said to another commenter, does diabetes cause obesity?

@BraveNewWorld76 Maybe that's what they want us all to believe, they have been saying that since the day one. I thought the people decided elections not news corps.
libaanos 1 month ago
@BraveNewWorld76 The nomination is the hardest part for Paul because neoconservative Republicans hate his foreign policy, which is what makes up most of the Republican base now. However, if he by some miracle won the nomination he could defeat Obama because Republicans who want to defeat Obama will support the nominee whoever it is and Paul is able to garner the Independent, Blue Republican, and Libertarian vote. Something Romney cannot do.
housecry 1 month ago
@housecry -- I agree. I wish the neo-cons/corporatist would start their own party. I look at Romney and think, the man is not a true Republican. If he was, he would not have created Romneycare--the blue print for Obamacare. Forcing people to buy a product (under the guise of "helping them") is corporatism--the merging of government and business.

RaiceGeriko 1 month ago

JDHChannel1 1 month ago
I'd everyone to think about this...in 2009, as with every president, the president gives congress a list of presidential appointments. They high ranking ones get scrutinized, but usually the lower ranking ones (white house clerks and appointments like that) get approved right away. The president had approx. 200 + appointments he needed considered and do you know the republicans block almost every single one of them? Even the clerks?
JDHChannel1 1 month ago
-> So, if Ron Paul is a threat...and we know he is...AND he's white and the establishment is doing this to him out of, hell, I don't know...I guess fear of losing power, influence or being able to hoard vasts amounts of resources for themselves and people like themselves, do you think just for a moment that the same establishment wants a black president to be successful? Do you think they even want to be led by someone not like them? It's just a question and something to consider...
JDHChannel1 1 month ago
-> because he takes virtually all the power away from every established white run group or agency in the U.S. And I am not saying that as a negative or anything...I mean it is what it is and it's fact. I mean, hell, there were virtually no people of color in government or as CEO's or anyone of color in the republican party or a part of the Military Industrial complex, so its factual to say, they are mostly white...cont ->
JDHChannel1 1 month ago

Ron Paul for President!!
Jackthod 1 month ago 6
@Jackthod

@peaceliberty4all If Mitt Romney wasn't a smart guy, I wouldn't want him to be president.
Romney won the post-graduate vote in S.C, and former NASA scientists endorsed him, Only the tea party in space endorsed Gingrich.
I don't think you should use religion to influence my vote, I won't vote for Mitt just because he is LDS, the church does not endorsed any candidate.
If Paul wins the GOP, I will vote for him.. If Gingrich or Santorum win the GOP, I will vote for Obama. I am a moderate.

@peaceliberty4all Church leaders do NOT endorse any party or candidate, so you cannot say that I don't listen.
Just because Paul knows a lot about the constitution, it doesn't mean he is right. So far, I have not seen good reason to support him.
