No it's my third time. My first was in Baltimore last year and I actually ran into him in the lobby of our hotel! I was so excited when I saw him and I made the biggest mistake of my life.... I asked him for a hug!??? Can you believe it??? Of course he said no... He must have thought I was some kind of weirdo! But I was just so star struck for the first time in my life.... and he was always no. 1 on my list of people I would love to meet!!!

ahhhhh you lucky. i tried to meet him after this show but they closed the gates to the meet and greet and there was no way around. oh well. theres always next time. One of the roadies gave me a setlist and i found one of his bassist's picks on the ground so that was pretty cool. was he a nice guy when you met him?

Omg I did not know there was a meet and greet! I thought he was joking!! I've heard he's a nice guy but I think I ran into him at a bad moment. He did not want to chat and was even afraid to ride on my elevator lol! He shook my hand though and yet somehow I'm left feeling so unfulfilled....

Haha I thought he was kidding too because i didnt see any meet and greet tickets on livenation or ticketmaster. I wouldve gotten a pass if i had known. Yeah it sounds like you got him at a bad time. Theres a really little guitar store near my town and eric clapton has been there but he didn't want people to know he who he was. Maybe when musicians are in public they don't want to be noticed cuz it's probably annoying. Pete might've been the same way

So anyway I still really want to meet him under better circumstances...patience is a virtue!! I must say the experience has caused me to be more friendly with strangers than I used to be... Life is too short!! Just keeps me coming back...

Thanks for posting scuttlebuttin13! I was in the first row on the left side of the stage. Amazing concert wasn't it?? You did a shot over the audience in this vid and managed to capture a friend of mine in it..... pretty cool!!

haha thats pretty coo.l I just was showing everyone what the venue looked like and how close we were. It was such an awesome show. My first time seeing Pete live. what about yours?
