@AgentPunisher Nope, Noah is way younger and is crazy as shit and owns a psuedodog. Doc is old, and the dog he owns is just a regular dog with some mutation and obviously doc isn't crazy.
This is the bad true ending. The good true ending is where you destroy the Common Consciousness. The rest of the endings (from the Wish Granter) are all false endings; decoys! This game is brilliant! I suggest everyone should replay this game with the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Complete 2009 mod which will soon be updated from 2009 to 2012! It's beautiful.
Im a huge fan and I think fallout should really learn from this game. But, the only thing I think fallout 3 does slightly better than stalker, and I think this is cause stalker is much older, is the endings. In fallout the game looks at your actions and stalker looks at the path you choose. I wish the new stalker would look at my actions as a person a bit more. Cause the endings are way of from my personality. anyway, dont be hating blindly cause you only play stalker. Im expresing my thoughts

@stiskavac In Call of Pripyt first map there is a mission for you to go and retrieve some stuff form a car. The car fell through a crack in the earths ground and there are a bunch h of snorks down there. This might be what happened to you!

I always thought of this like the "real" ending, although I now am aware of that it isn´t because of the events in Call of Pripyat. It seems to me like most people think that Strelok was fooled by the C-consciousness to join them in the tubes. To me, it seems strange why it would lie about the Noosphere and everything... For such an intelligent entity, there must be a reason to dominate the Zone, a reason that makes sense! It must´ve risen beyond human stupidity of thirst for power....
The "good" ending is the one where Strelok destroys the C-Consciousness (the people in those green stasis tubes), which is also the canonical ending (story-wise CoP happens after C-Consciousness is destroyed).

True ending is when he destroys c-consciousness, not when he joins them. Call of Pripyat follows on from the ending where c-consciousness are destroyed.

the i wish the zone to disapear is a false one. marked one IS strelok. in clear sky (which is a prequel) you where a merc that had to kill strelok, but it failed. you and strelok where cought in a massive blowout, you didnt survive but strelok did. strelok was caught by C-Consciousness and they gave him the mission to kill himself and gave him the s.t.a.l.k.e.r. tattoo to make him a member of C-Consciousness. however, strelok lost his mind and doesnt know who he is..
Well this is what happen... When strelok got caught in the massive blowout... They marked him with a strange Tattoo S.T.A.L.K.E.R his memory got wiped by C-Consciousness They didnt know they had Strelok... What they do is everyone who has made it Chernobyl and back they take him wipe his memory and give them an Off-Task... Which is impossible to complete... They thought strelok was dead little did they know they had strelok! Then the Represenative finally reveals himself in the end!

If you talk to the DUTY Quartermaster, it seems Doc here (Fellow with the dog) was the first person to reach the centre of the Zone and got his wish (To heal all things).
In soc you ARE strelok himself, in cs you didn't die, you survived and got brainwashed, but something went wrong and you got the order to kill "strelok" so yourself.
In Cs you don't play strelok.
The wish granter is fake, nobody who reached him ever came back again.
well, ok yes it is but there are 2 different guys, i am 100% sure that in the first part you are Scar and in the second Strelok. I can't explain why he has the PDA of scar.
I'm confused. I know he's Strelok, but who is that other guy who was with the doctor? The one Strelok was shown saving from the Monolith towards the end of the game. They're not the same dude.
I was never able to beat it... I got to one point where I had to run across railways and roof tops and try to kill a man I forgot who I was chasing but he always got away and mission was then failed... I saved in the middle of that mission so there was no going back, kinda sucks I just unstalled my game...
I was able to beat the ending where you fight on the roof tops of the NPP on Novice, but I could only beat the game as far as the Monolith on Stalker difficulty.
In the Freedom base (Army warehouses), in the building where you talk to Lukash, there's an armory on the lower level with Guardian Of Freedom and Wind of Freedom suits, and tons of weapons and ammo, if you can just get past the guard..
the doctor... strelok has a team consisting of : Fang ( who died at Yantar), Ghost ( who died at...i think at the NPP), a Doctor ( the old man) and Strelok.
what i dont get is in the other true ending strelok kills all the c-conscience members, but he was told they were the ones halting the zones expansion. So how exactly did he end up in a sunny field?? Unless they were lieing.....
they lied... the zone only exists because of the c-conscience because they made a hole in the novossphere and that hole resulted in being the "zone". so he killed all of these ppl which filled up the hole in the novossphere which ended the existance of the "zone"
Tell the guy you dont want to join him..then a door opens and you get into the teleporterlevel...after you finished it the cutscene appears and you shoot all of the 7 green "bottels XD" there..thats it you are free and got one of the 2 good endings of the game
Ok, C-Consciousness is basically a program where people participate in stopping the expanding of the zone. The reason why they chose Chernobyl for the place in the Zone and the project was because it was quiet. After the '86 explosion, everything was quiet and no one was there. So? They make a project to stop the expansion of this explosion and the truth of the zone. There. I explained everything, and that is why you join C-Consciousness.
The C-Consciousness was a project to make humanity more peaceful, the zone didn't exist until the C-Consciousness attempted to change mankind. Now the C-Consciousness is trying to stop the zone but that wasn't its original purpose.

I was never able to beat it... I got to one point where I had to run across railways and roof tops and try to kill a man I forgot who I was chasing but he always got away and mission was then failed... I saved in the middle of that mission so there was no going back, kinda sucks I just unstalled my game...

I was able to beat the ending where you fight on the roof tops of the NPP on Novice, but I could only beat the game as far as the Monolith on Stalker difficulty.

In the Freedom base (Army warehouses), in the building where you talk to Lukash, there's an armory on the lower level with Guardian Of Freedom and Wind of Freedom suits, and tons of weapons and ammo, if you can just get past the guard..

the doctor... strelok has a team consisting of : Fang ( who died at Yantar), Ghost ( who died at...i think at the NPP), a Doctor ( the old man) and Strelok.

what i dont get is in the other true ending strelok kills all the c-conscience members, but he was told they were the ones halting the zones expansion. So how exactly did he end up in a sunny field?? Unless they were lieing.....

they lied... the zone only exists because of the c-conscience because they made a hole in the novossphere and that hole resulted in being the "zone". so he killed all of these ppl which filled up the hole in the novossphere which ended the existance of the "zone"

Tell the guy you dont want to join him..then a door opens and you get into the teleporterlevel...after you finished it the cutscene appears and you shoot all of the 7 green "bottels XD" there..thats it you are free and got one of the 2 good endings of the game

Ok, C-Consciousness is basically a program where people participate in stopping the expanding of the zone. The reason why they chose Chernobyl for the place in the Zone and the project was because it was quiet. After the '86 explosion, everything was quiet and no one was there. So? They make a project to stop the expansion of this explosion and the truth of the zone. There. I explained everything, and that is why you join C-Consciousness.

The C-Consciousness was a project to make humanity more peaceful, the zone didn't exist until the C-Consciousness attempted to change mankind. Now the C-Consciousness is trying to stop the zone but that wasn't its original purpose.
