They operate almost alone doing out of the ordinary things that nobody really knows but those who live there and it's fascinating to see how law enforcement is applied to rural villages 500 miles from the nearest town. If you don't like it, change the channel. It has great ratings from thousands of people so YES it is a show for NG and is awesome.

The way it was portrayed, it looked like the officers were searching for possibly hours. Having numerous officers involved for hours in rounding up stupid kids doesn't seem like efficient use of taxpayer resources. Those officers could be patrolling the local community looking for criminals instead of playing hide-n-seek w/ kids.
