This review is misleading. You have to know exactly how to use the device. If you have shaky hands, then it is not for you. I have used one these and you just move it steadily and it works. This guy is telling us that the manufacturer never tried this before they put on the market if the results are so crappy??? Get a flat bed!!
I can clearly see you have no technical background to operate a portable scanner. I have two Docupens and they all work as described. I scan books sideways and rotate them using PP software. The dpen u hve has lost its Calibration. Recalibrate the Docupen and it will produce excellent copies.
I use a Micro SD with X pen and download multiple images to BBerry. So people dont trust what you see, or hear when it comes to electronics.
I am sorry to say Mr. Guru you must go back to school.
@pousow1 Here's is the thing. It doesn't matter if you want to use it regularly...To be honest, this is a college students tools. It's great for scanning docs on an exam that the professor doesn't let us review after or let us find where the professor is getting questions. Duh. This is was made for college students. ;) Hope prof haven't caught on to this >_<

Thank you for the review. Was thinking of getting this, but after watching this I am not.
Maybe there is a market for this, but you can always use a digital camera for this and it is a lot quicker.
Transferring data over blue tooth is always slow.
