This ride is perfectly safe. There really isn't any real need for any lap belts of anything. The turns aren't that sharp, there really aren't many big drops. So why use any tap belts. Now they do have the safety bar to make sure that no one flies off the train. It is a great ride.

I know that Big Thunder Mtn. Railroad is a really fun ride but I actually found out as some tricky turns were kind of painful. It's sad that I even got a lil' head bang.
