i gotta say, i love what they did to the song. michael crawford's version has a much fuller, more broadway sound than the original Hello Dolly! maybe its his voice, probably is the advancement of sound technology, but i love it!

If it wasn't for Michael Crawford and Hello Dolly I might never have decided to go see WALL-E which I fell in love with! Thank you Michael( love you in Phantom to!)and Jerry Herman. Thank you Jim Stanton for using the wonderful clips of Mike as Cornelius in WALL-E. Who would have thought scenes from a sixties movie musical would fit so perfectly into a state of the art 2008 animated film! Amazing opening sequence. Love how Michael sings this song!

I have always loved Hello Dolly, and when the music started the Wall-E movie I was really happy. It's great that people are learning about great musicals through Disney.

I total agree with you that this movie is getting people interested in old classics. But don't thank Disney.

It was the guys at Pixar who made the movie, not Disney. Disney just distributed the movie.

If it was up to them they would just make more straight-to-video sequels of all the other movies they've already made.
