i agree with saiyoke about vodafone wanting your money, i was on contract with them and for months they would add 20-30 quid onto my phone bill so it was like 70, and my parents would have to ring up every month and they'd reduce it again saying they were 'so sorry...' -.-
I dont think so, no....As far as I know, its not a 'sounds effect', its actually the noise of the screen pressing in (i.e button noise) so you can't turn it off

this guy pisses me off soo much whenever he talks. I literally want to rip out his jugular and let him bleed to death, no offense. By the way he looks like voldemort.
the fact it doesn't have WiFi is the only thing stopping me from getting this phone and getting the HTC G1. but i wana see the reviews after it comes out, i still could change my mind..
some of us don't have laptops, ever thought of that? and despite my dell xps all in ones's all in oneness, i don't feel like carrying it with me into every room of my house. in this case, wifi would be nice. not a deal breaker though, but its sad. if only this had wifi and a faster UI that software updates actually fix. (Cnet just did a prizefight between iphone 3g and the storm, they kept complaining about the bugginess of the storm even when updates.)
I have had WiFi on various phones and I never use it. The download speeds are usually pretty good now (I use my Verizon phone for HSI while on the road and I can often download at over 100K/sec-not bad.)
Too much of a hassle, usually - putting in WEP/WPA keys, etc.. When you have WiFi, it means you usually also have a full computer to use it with.
WiFi is nice but honestly, it's a niche feature that I'd venture to say that most people just don't use. Would be nice, but not a deal breaker.
Hate this phone

It is just Jason's glasses that annoy me, they are far to big for his face.

I don't think wifi will be truly needed. I've been using my mogul without wifi and it's awesome. But it does depend in what area you are in.
groovdafied 3 years ago
If you are such an independent reviewer, than why cant you say "APPLE IPHONE"?
WakingMrHyde 3 years ago
Because he's being paid by Vodafone 'not to'.
Also, it's common knowledge that Jason has and loves his iPhone. :D

Because it is a Vodafone video. That is why.

someone tell me why you would need wifi when you can get unlimited EVDO RevA data almost everywhere.
nostalgia123 3 years ago
not in canada we are being ripped off!!
KRISKINGMP 3 years ago
because evdo revA is still slower than wifi... which is still a lot faster than evdo, since most of us have fiber optic internet at home.
csoccer1 3 years ago
if you're at home why not use your laptop?
also, most public wifi hotspots are much slower than your typical wifi at home.
nostalgia123 3 years ago
storm doesnt use wifi

so you dont even need it

If they had included WiFi this phone will be perfect, but they were stupid enough to leave it out for some reason..
