  • Where can I get some of this Adams stuff at?

  • @jg875102 From the Adam's Polishes website. Google it. You Tube won't allow the posting of links in this area.

  • @jg875102 Don't forget to use my coupon code and save yourself 10% off the retail cost.

  • a simple and fun video to watch junkman,..fun way to learn and and info,,,keep it up

  • @TheFisham Thanks for watching. :)

  • Best to tape off around the lights then you lessen the chance of burning the paint. (Slowly becoming an Adams convert)

  • Thanxs. . I'll check tomorrow morning if i can take the headlight apart

  • Another great video junkman. . But what if the haze is in the inside of my headlight? I would have to get an entire new headlight? I just got a car about a month ago and only the drivers side is hazy but from inside the headlight

  • @nando323 That depends on if the headlight comes apart or not. If not, you are going to need a new headlight.

  • @Junkman2000 Thanks Bruh, you alright!

  • lol "brother in his garage" hahaha. nice vid. man, even though I detail professionally, I still love watching these types of videos for some reason

  • @FlyingStuff You know, I get that from professional detailers and novices both. I'm just sharing something that I like to do for relaxation, in an easy to understand format. That's the way I teach, an that's pretty much the way I am in real life.

    Thanks for watching. : )

  • one suggestion would be to mask the car with painters tape, so you can get more aggressive in the corners without hurting the paint :)

  • the turtle wax kit i got, that just had hand scrub pads.... did not have a result anything like this.

  • @pineappaloupe That's what happens when you buy those over the counter products. They are not all that good.

  • This guy is full of sh.. all you need is a bottle of softscrub...soft cloth get the haze off and then use a good car polish on the lense to protect the lense.....do not sand your plastic lense you will ruin it........this takes 5 mins......

  • @roanokebarry

What guy are you talking about? Nobody used any sandpaper in this video.

  • I bought a kit to do this to my headlights. I was wondering if it is safe to use on oxidated red tail lights as well?

  • @itisYOUREnotYOUR

I have never tried this on tail lights. Good question. If you try it, report back and let us know what happens. I know it will work, the only question I have is will it remove the red color of the lights.

  • Thank you!!! I WAS GONNA BUY NEW HEAD LIGHTS!!!! for my 98 eclipse gsx.

  • Well, you can take your woman out to dinner with the money you saved!

  • Yep gonna buy her some more Thongs for them late night snacks!

  • lol!

  • Also my father has a 1993-1994 toyota Supra and The tail lights are small and skinny do they make other size's?

  • No, but you could use a Dremel tool with a buffing wheel and some Swirl & Haze Remover to get in there. Just don't crank the Dremel tool up to high or you'll end up melting the tail light!

  • @Junkman2000 yeah, a dremel is way way easy to burn plastic, gotta be SUPER careful.

  • Thanks again, i have that haze on my headlights and didn't know you could do that. I almost bought them new.

  • You my friend just saved a wad of dead presidents!

  • nice vid....does adams have anything to fix the bumper crack by the foglight?;)

now i know where to bring the focus for some headlight love.

  • Hell, bring some love for the entire car! It needs it! lol!

  • lol, poor focus. no love for the zx3.

i'd so love to catch the vette in some turns where power doesn't matter(is there such a place?).

somehow i'd imagine i'd almost plow into the back of you on entry, then you'd leave me on exit, then i'd get a good look at your license plate on the next turn, then you'd leave me. rinse and repeat again.

  • Or, you'd run into the barricade on the first turn like you almost did on I-64! lol!

  • lol, that rental fusion(POS handles like a boat, pontiac g6 much better for that car class)....should have run it along the barricade video game style to take the turn faster. put that rental insurance to use for once.

believe focus was getting suspension put on when i had rental

upgraded springs, struts, sway bars, energy suspension urethane bushings all around, and decent performance tires(falken ziex's) make that little car stick like crazy-some people won't ride with me anymore.

  • Call me when you're ready. We'll take a trip up to the Knob. Some good twisties up there!

  • oh, i love going up and down the hill off of the state street exit. i even know of a 90degree turn you can take at well over 50 back in one of the neighborhoods(freak turn that banks and goes uphill in perfect unison).

    be in touch soon.

  • Taping off is just a good habit to get into. I'm doing a paint correction on a Porsche because the owner wasn't happy with the last detailer not taping off and getting splatter everywhere.

  • Another great video! Couple of things, first you should tape the area around the light then you don't have to worry about the pad hitting the paint. Second...yuck, those wheels are really nasty.

    Can't wait for part 2

  • It's my girlfriends car. She washes it once every 5 months. I wasn't remotely worried about taking off any paint!
