  • George suffered clinical depression. He seemed

to try to hide it with this religion THING. Not a very

honest or open thing to do, especially since he

professed himself to be "spiritual" and "quiet".

Which, he was neither. How I WISH George was

quiet! He never seemed to stop complaining. Then,

to pretend he hated MATERIALISM while he lived

in a 120-room exotic mansion was the height of

hypocrisy! As for his music...it's pretty clear George

was no John Lennon. Heck, he wasn't even Ringo!

  • @FrlghtWolf.....no he was no john lennon or any of the others. he was much better

  • @1954goliath - Oh yes. Better at PLAGIARIZING

    other people's music!

  • @FrlghtWolf Such as...

  • Poor George. He never did get happy. He spent the

rest of his life being bitter at what he THOUGHT the

Beatles did to him and his music. Vanity or pure

ignorance did not let him consider the fact that much

of his music was never up to Beatle quality. He got

help from Paul on two of his three good songs which,

he also resented. He tried hard to prove he was an

equal and in the process he proved just the opposite.

In the end, the "spiritual" and "quiet" Beatle was never

    really either!

  • @CubanCheGuevara

    That may be YOUR opinion.

Those that were lucky enough to actually KNOW him feel and know differently

  • I wish I could have been on this premiere and I miss George and his guitar playing.

  • God bless George

  • Love you Dear George. Be at peace.

  • I miss George =(

  • lol, if paul was dead and this was 'faul', he wouldn't be able to recall what he said towards the end xD

    R.I.P Georgie :(

  • I Love You George!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • George and John were my faves. Loved their music. There will never be people like them again in our lifetime.

  • great doc.

  • Thank you George for the music you created and left behind for us to enjoy, reminisce and associate with.

  • "I never wanted to be famous, I wanted to be successful"-George Harrison

Even though you didn't want to be famous, you became a legend

We shouldn't even be saying RIP to George because legends like him never die

  • R.I.P George Harrison

  • @xxTitanicRocksxx what did Noel insult???

  • GH was a good person. Tragically he smoked too much. If he hadn't smoked he might be alive today. Why the deafening silence in relation to this fact. Cigarettes must be taxed beyond people's reach or criminalised outright.

  • "Living in the Material World" is excellent! I missed so much of George's contributions to both the music world and the spiritual plane. The film was very inspirational. Thank you Olivia and Martin. Most of all thank you George for being who you were for all of us. You are missed here on planet earth.

  • I miss so much George and John.

The world isn’t the same without George and John. The four Beatles, made the earth a better place, and I want to remember always the 60’s and the best band to ever appear. And will never be forgotten. Miss them so much.

    Long life to Beatles.

  • Why didn't they put this documentary on November 29th the anniversary of his death?

  • More profiteering off of the Beatles. It's the gift that keeps on giving. Everyone of their songs has been re-packaged on a hundred different albums. Hundreds of biographies have been written about the group collectively and individually. We pretty much know all we need to about the lads. That being said, I'll be watching on HBO :)

  • aw, george. he was an amazing musician and an over all amazing person! i love him too bits. im sure hes in a better place now. even though hes not here with us anymore but his a legend. and legends never die, do they? he'll live in our hearts forever.

oh, and i really want to see the DVD! :)

  • RIP George

  • Quién es el flaco que a los 0:12 aparece con una t-shirt de azul de George Harrison? Esa remera la hice yo :) Cómo llegó ahí? Es diseño de mi marca, Indica Boutique! Help! Alguien lo conoce?

  • The Quiet Beatles wasn't so quiet after all.

  • George Harrison was a devoted truth seeker who spread the truth that he found through is music and lyrics. He was a very spiritual guy - I wish George was still around so I could meet him and talk with him, because I am a serious? truth seeker too. If you are a truth seeker, search "Truth Contest" in Google, click the 1st result, then open The Present and read what it says. I think George would have loved this.

  • The best Beatle was George. RIP.

  • HEIL THE BEATLES

  • fuck

this comment will be forotten after all the other mother fuckers :(

  • @DeLMe192 Then why did you make it, you dumbass.

  • beatlemanie :)

  • Long live the Quiet Beatle...

  • NOEL GALLAGHER >> GOD

  • missing Georgie more & more. Sometimes I can't believe he's really gone from this world; but I pray that he's in a happier, better world than this. Amen.

  • @ABCLakey2012 praise allah.

  • @ABCLakey2012 Same. I can't accept the fact that he's gone. The biggest loss in my life really so far

  • @BeckyBeatle , oh my God yes. I feel like I've lost a really good friend too. He's gotta be in Heaven feeling all the love from us below, I pray. Take care.

  • I miss George

  • George had such a huge heart... RIP.
