I've got to agree here and I know a bit more than a little about the costs of building cars. This is not $300k of car, maybe if you started with only a piece of paper and had to pay $200k for a workable body/chassis to start from but we all know even a basic Barracuda with a slant six doesn't cost anywhere near that to aquire. What exactly is under the hood? Sounds pretty tame under throttle when it should be really jumping alive.
If this is just a "tribute" or replica car then if $300k was spent on making this car, which again I say, it is nice, then someone really got taken to the cleaners. Or maybe I need to get back into the biz. It's nice but there's nothing $300k special going on here.
$300k into this car? Seriously? I mean it's a nice car and all but that's not $300k of work, not even close, not at all. Now if this was a real '70 Hemi Cuda then one would have to ask why it would have a '71 grill and front fenders? Also if it was a real from the factory Hemi Cuda you'd have to ask why it's been altered like this when it would be actually worth so much more stock. Maybe it cost $300k to make like this because a fool started with a real deal and fucked it up like this? ...
@TheHemiphil81 No offense intended but you may indeed have a '72 Cuda with a Hemi in it (assuming you're telling the truth) but you do not have a '72 Hemi Cuda. No big blocks were offered after '71, least of all the Hemi. Can't call it a Hemi 'Cuda unless that was how it was built at the factory. Anything else is a Barracuda with a Hemi in it and not a Hemi 'Cuda.
i love your videos but come on over 300k for a resto/mod a guy in vegas just did one of the most beautiful 69 gto judges i have ever seen in my life when i asked how much did it cost to get it done he said i did most of the work my self except the custom interior and other odds n ends so about 100k give or take over 300k just sounds wrong
That is one awesome ride man. I have never seen any Cuda's in New Zealand, so cruising in this vid is as close as I will ever get to the real thing. lol....
@71powerwagon Ok but hows he going to widen the rim? That's some big ass rubber back there as well as in front to get better grip.... There ok rims but something like the mags they had back then or steelies would be better.
SAM, PLEASE TELL ME YOU DIDNT PUT THE YEAR DOWN!!! I dont mean any offense to you, but its so frustrating when a vehicle as iconic as the 71 Cuda is labeled a 70!!!! Awesome car Sam!!
@samspace81 IM a retard Sam, If you dont mind my asking, what did the car sell for?? Or better way to ask, what were you asking for her. By the way, I love you videos and how much effort you obviously put into them.

how could someone put 300000$ into that? its a great looking car but thats crazy.
rwbrdms1 2 months ago
@rwbrdms1 Well, you don't restore a car to make money. If you do, you did it wrong!
gunny426plymouth 2 weeks ago
@gunny426plymouth i didnt say that, but 300000 it very excessive for that car.

Some nice cosmetic features? like tail lights, head lights, grill, fenders? Might have been easier to start with a 71

@CHADIEB They never came this nice.
samspace81 4 months ago
@samspace81 . I should hope not, for $300,000.00 most Lambos and ferraris don't come "that nice"

Gorgeous, but the dash has gotta go. I much prefer modified OEM Rallye gauges than the ubiquitous Autometers; too homemade looking.
