at my school, they have what is called "final cut pro", i dont remember any "studio" being in the name. all the computers in tv video room had it, so i dont think it was $1,300, i thought that it was free on macs. and its pretty good with editing.

excellent work, but just a few things that i could add, you should've used the iconic ringtone that CTU always has, you should've used that effect that 24 does where they have two, or three camera angles at the same time, and the stupid thing jack always does where he does a REALLY loud whisper

Yeah, I agree a little more action would have been nice, but we unfortunately had to tone down the violence for the original audience. I'm glad you like it though.

Final Cut Studio is professional grade software from Apple. You can get it from their online store. Unfortunately, it only runs on Macs, and like all pro applications it's expensive, $1,299. If you can get an educational discount from your school It would be $699.

Thankyou! I used Final Cut Pro for all the editing. Adobe Premier Pro is also capable of split screen effects if you don't own a Mac.

Ah, no problem. The explosion was done with a program called Motion which is packaged with Final Cut Studio Pro. Adobe After Effects is Adobe's equivalent, but it's considerably more expensive.. and better.
