this doesnt have anything to do with the song but is there a difference between the 3 fingered g and the four fingered g?  im kinda a beginner and learn the four fingered way but in chord books it only has the 3 fingered one. srry if im confusin u

its just a little different sound, but i like the 4 fingeredG best, it is also easier to transition from the 4 fingerd G to a Cadd9 and a D during some songs

the only difference is on the B string, 3 fingered G has a B note and 4 fingered G has a D note so i dont think its higher

yeah you could, you would just need to adjust the riff by adding 3 onto every number on the tab and then change the chords into barre chords
