  • I saw them when they came over to Toronto directly from Wales, in a little dive called "Larry's Hideaway". I was entranced by them. They all stood at the front of the stage in unison and had such a presence!!!!

  • Unfortunately their U2 associattion failed as Joshua Tree went mega and there seen as imposters...eye of the hurricane is a good lp

  • got to perform with mike last september. very humbling and all around great guy!

  • This is a wonderful song-the only pity here though, is that this version is too short and cuts off too soon at the end!

There is a longer version on You Tube, check that out-it is much better!

Thank you for the posting though-well done!

  • Great song. Hey Bieber...Why don't you carry these guy's suit cases for a few years and learn something? Great band, and one of the best lead singers ever.

  • @mikeanelson Indeed FANTASTIC!!! Mike's Singin with Big Country now for their new tour, check em out!!

  • @mikeanelson

Maybe you should ask Bieber how he became widely popular, rich and successful. I'm guessing it wasn't through mad critic skills.

Maybe you should ask yourself why you are not any of these things, not even a suitcase carry person for The Alarm.

  • @jbaumhauer A suitcase carry person? I think you mean't to say sky-cap, bell hop, or door man. Be sure to write me back when Bieber is 22 years old, burnt out, and a bunch line to an endless parade of jokes.

  • @mikeanelson No. I meant suitcase carry person. As in a person whose sole function is to carry suitcases (non-gender specific.) Justin Bieber has enough money that he doesn't need to have stereotypically named servants. By the way, why the irrational hatred of J. Bieber? Not that I have any love of Bieber. I just think you are missing the point that Bieber is doing a fine job of providing his form of entertainment which has little to do with the Alarm and their fans. And what's a "bunch line?"

  • @mikeanelson You are so right. :-)

  • Many thanks for the posting-a great song indeed! This is one of the Alarm's best songs without doubt I feel.

  • Justin Baby ad before the song? WTF Talk about a huge slap in the face to McGyver !!

  • for years I was trying to remember this Song and who sang it, over 15 years worth the wait, and it was played on a local Radio out of the blue, Awesome then and still is, and will never sound out dated

  • awesome song brings me back to the 80's

  • one of the best songs frm the Alarm!! problem is i can't turn it up any louder.needs more volume

  • Amazing

  • still better sound than u2 don't care what anyone says

  • more like George W

  • I miss good music, I mean really good music like we used to here on the radio, like the music The Alarm us to make.

  • "I was watching the video thinking MCGYVER!" exactly....

  • Great Song and Great Video...10

  • I was watching the video thinking MCGYVER.....and looked down and the single post reads Mcgyver. This smells a lot like the doings of MacGruber? Great song by one of TVs greatest By-the- seat- of -his -pants,jury -rigging action heros.

  • @4810xmarks99 I was thinking McGyver as well. Great song!

  • mcgyver ??
