  • I've never been to the Minnetonka area, but I would imagine it's one of the best places to live in southern MN. Although, nothing tops Duluth!

  • Hell yeah dude, I used to fly down those streets, I stayed outta St. Paul though.

  • Haha...showed this to my 3 year old. This is from grandma's house to mama's house. :)

  • So the real question....how did you get to Savoy's for pizza when you were in the far right lane? ;) Cool vid!

  • you must have left from mound correct? that was a kool time lapse the tunnel by the walker art musem is the best part

  • The video starts about 5 miles out of Mound already. That area has Orono addresses I believe.

  • Great stuff! How'd you get the video game effect?

  • yea this drive deffinatly sucks. But we do it any way.. why!?

  • Good grief. I have made that very drive so many times I could do it blindfolded. Used to live in Spring Park. Now reside in Saint Paul. Welcome to my world.

  • Bravo!!! Very, Very good work!

  • Interesting video...especially with the inclusion of Google Earth to show the routing...

  • Excellent Video! Very smooth and stable! I am originally from the Twin Cities! It is always nice to see how the area has changed! Thanks! 5-Stars!

  • Your videos have definitely gotten more refined. How difficult is it to put up the text/signs? How do you stabilize your camera so well? I sat my camera on my dashboard where it more or less stays put.

  • Thanks.

Adding the road signs is very simple. It's just like adding a still image to a video, you just lay it in on its own video track, scale it as necessary, and add whatever transitional effects you want (in this case, a simple fade). In my Portland video I got a bit more creative with them, check it out.

  • I use a tripod on just ahead of the passenger's seat. One leg on the floor, one on the center console by the e-brake, and one in the passenger's drink holder. I use a small level to get get it adjusted as straight as I can.

  • Beatiful

  • Thanks everyone.

  • Awesome as always. Just wondering, what kind of editor do you use to get the road signs on the screen?

  • Very well done!

  • Excellent innovation with the Picture IN Picture. I've been wanting to see someone do this.

I figure it's an imagery gathering process for game creation.

So now, can you map all this to GTA4 engine??

    5stars.
