automation and also 2 synths on top of each other is all you do with 2 of their automations followinf each other, maybe an extra 2 automation for reverb aswell,

Its just like any other controller but you can set up the number of sliders or buttons. Just read the manual of FL studio is very well explained there. You can also search for this in you tube: "FL studio controllers" the dashboard is explained in Part 1

Lol I have no idea how to use the dashboard. I never used it. Do u put it in the mixer as an effect or on the sequencer ?
