If you look through the vid archive in the Shadow Broker's base on Hagalaz, one of the clips you see is Matriarch Aethyta gazing intently at what is clearly a picture of Liara, as it is identical to the picture Shepard has on his/her desk if Liara was romanced in the first game. That's pretty concrete evidence.

On the LotSB DLC there's also a thingy that allows you to view "surveillance footage" of various people in the galaxy. One of those is Aetheyta and she's looking at a photo of Liara. She also mentioned that she was the "father" of an asari pureblood if you talk to her at the bar (I think that's what started the rumour).

@ArbyArthur I'm not sure. That claim has been floating around, particularily since LotSB. I've played the whole game through 5 times and there is no canon evidence that the two even know each other (Though Aethyta might know of Liara as an information broker). All we know for certain is that a) Liara is a pureblood Asari who didn't know her father, and b) Aethyta is the father to a child with another asari, and that the relationship "didn't work out" (doesn't say which this refers to)

The visor is actually equipment that you can buy on Omega; it's supposed to increase headshot damage. The asari bartender's face changes once you're three sheets to the wind (waving screen), which occurs at different points depending on the strength and number of alcoholic drinks you consume.

No... I've scoured the game and bought everything I could get my grubby mitts on. The only visor I found was the one-eye that sorta looks like Garrus's. I never found any other visors, in fact the only other head pieces i found were helmets
