There are 2 things about this cartoon, what i find weird. HItler, who is same in the first story. EDUCATION FOR DEATH was a book that was adapted to animation as seen here. One has to comprehend the social issues and world events of that time to fully appreciate this message. It should not be disregared since the possibility of history repeating itself in this matter is very possilbe if people are not aware of this history. I bet it was banned for its stupidity. This is clear a war time US propaganda. People back then thrived (in terms of business) from making fun of Nazis. Just recall when and how Disney wons its first oscar nomination ever (making fun of Hitler).

@SaintlyMic it was mostly banned in Germany because well they did not want to relive such a horrible past. the civilian population had no clue what the nazis were doing. most of them did not know but were forced to work at burying the bodies. god i can't imagine how that would feel i mean you think they loved hitler in 1944-45 at least 60% of Germany remaining civilians under German controlled territory hated or did not believe hitler any more.

Also I think these kinds of videos were a double-edged sword. Many 'kids' may have come away understanding the moral they wanted them to, but I bet just as many kids latched onto the ideals found in the film. Such as 'the strong dominate the weak'. Propoganda is only truly effective if you completely hide the message of the other side. As Germany did for the most part.

@lewis123417 Idk about that....I see the Mexican flag all over the place! But then again I live in a border state so of course I'm gonna see it. Heck I saw a Mexican flag up in Ohio like a year ago. But besides that I haven't seen any other flags. I think you can fly another country's flag and not get busted for it as long as it is lower than the American flag. If you get busted then it is discrimination since the Hispanics get away with it (my opinion).

what some dont realize is this is in an alternate universe the war and fascism only lasted from 1939 to 1945 (german fascism not talking about neo nazi and that ) the child born in this would have only been seven he might have learned atleast the first few minutes of the movie but the rest would have meant the the war was still going on or the germans won. please dont hate me for this . just my perspective

If you were nazi in WW2 you'd think "The allies are wrong and evil, we must kill them all" and if you were soviet unit in WW2, youd think "The axis is wrong and evil, we must kill them all"

He was the first cammandant of Auschwitz and he managed to murder in his camp alone aproximately 1.3 million people 1.17 being jews. Considering there were 6 camps 6 million is only 1456 people per day not including the death trains, starvation, and overworking about 100 people would fit in a gas chamber and they would run these 12 hrs if it took a whole hr to run these

If you still don't believe me what was it those soldiers found in the mass graves holloween decorations? or the 100000's of survivors they all just made it up? Perhaps the german officials who openly boasted at war trials about killing the jews. I suppose you also deny that people died in 9/11?
