VGAs are rigged. The very first year that fake ass award show handed out awards they gave everyone and their mom an award. GTA: San Andreas was beaten by True Crime (A GTA clone) in some category, because GTA had already won an award and Spike wanted everyone to get their fucking game mentioned and praised. VGAs is nothing more than a fucking paid advertisement. It is not an award show, and if you go back and look at their first show you can see it is not legitimate at all!

Guild Wars 2, the FFXIV remake or w/e they are calling it, and blade and soul will suck away soooo many of the wow players. A fair number of remaining EQ players don't necessarily care too much about the game anymore (further expansions are barely evolutionary let alone any of them being revolutionary). A big reason for them still playing is simply the friends they have forged over the years and enjoy spending time with some of those that are left in the only place they have as a common ground - this is true of a good number of the players in the guild I'm in, many who've had prior 'hardcore' eq gaming habits.
