It's amazing to look at it today and remember The Monkees were considered untalented hacks at that time.

Compared to the "artists" of today The Monkees were brilliant.

You know, there seems to be a lot of talent here that has gone unnoticed over the years. It's a shame that The Monkees was the apex of his career, I think Dolenz could have had a much longer career as an R&B or Jazz singer.
