  • This is how the piece should be sung as sacred music. Bravo. Wonderful.

  • Wonderful!!!

Наконец-то я услышала то исполнение...каким оно должно быть..)))

  • as i know brightman is by no means operatic singer (musical theater and opera are never the same thing) strictly speaking, so don't be too harsh to her, she is doing very well in her area of profession.

  • wonderful ... amo a Edita, uma das minhas soprano preferidas, I love Edita ...

  • Очень хорошая певица, прекрасное чувство ансамбля, так тонко и бережно отнеслась к детскому голосу! Браво, молодец))

  • Super!!! Nádhera! Dokonalý andělský hlas!

  • bravo !

  • I don't agree.

he's just a boy sop. which is usually no match for a Mature sop. I'd like to hear her with a counter tenor.

  • This is the best that I have ever heard. I looked at sooo many videos, and this surpasses them all

  • This is convincing evidence that Webber is a marvelous composer, the only problem is he keeps choosing bad singers for his songs. My voice coach once said, "Mozart is meant for great singers", same goes to Webber. Brightman should learn and go back to basics as for voice emission.

  • I love Edita! Brightman should go cry in a corner if she had seen and heard this. Perfect enunciation, not like Sarah's "everything is an O sound"...

  • Seriously!

  • @musicyh hahahahahahahahahahahaha true

  • @musicyh Please, dont talk about Sarah Brightman at this moment when we are talking about Edita. It is not place for that empty, feigned, shallow pop- crosover voice.

  • Where was this and what concert was it? I'm really surprised with joy to see an operatic soprano singing Lloyd Webber.

  • Loads of sopranos sing Lloyd Webber, Gwynneth Jones sings memories, not very well though. just do a search and you will be surprised how often he is performed by opera divas

  • wow...amazing...I love her voice so much...and I like this song... and i never heard her to sing it.. amazing.. !!!!

  • Wow! I'd only ever heard Sarah Brightman sing this before, but Edita Gruberova is infinatly better! Gruberova's voice is very well toned down with many moments where she achieves great vocal beauty. Then again, Gruberova is a proper opera singer so its not surprising she is better than Brightman! I wish she had a better boy to sing with though, this one was clearly overcome with nerves and ruins the performance.

  • Who needs Sarah Brightman having the glorious Edita Gruberova?

Could someone give us the name of the young boy?

  • Gustav Nordlander, is listed at the beginning of the video ;)

  • I love how she "trimmed down" her sound in the duet portions, very sensitive. Wow, to have been that young boy!

  • I just can't get over how Sarah Brightman should go cry in the corner had she been to this concert. Thanks coloraturafan !!!

  • Well, Gruberova is a real singer however.

  • Come to that, yes :-)

  • @kngiht84 Lol, yes!
