This was all fake, im learning about this in my school, this entire press conference was fake, she wasn't even really apart of the French government, they just called a fake press conference at the last moment and basically said they had big news so everyone listened and believed them. this was to make the French government feel bad and embarrassed because after this 'incident' they had to address that they weren't going to pay Haiti back. the moral is that you can't always believe what you hear
