I've had many long conversations with a funny fundy fella with a Bible ph.d. He threatened me with all kinds of hell for not believing his beliefs. At first I didn't like him, but then I began to perceive him more clearly.

He spends long days online trying to save souls. He's like a firefighter running into burning houses to rescue people in danger. He has kind and courageous intentions.

I see him as my friend now. I still don't believe in his beliefs, but I appreciate his good and caring heart.

@ppyluv lol yes, since marriage is a legally binding act, and since homosexuality is two consenting adults doing something that is not harmful, unhealthy, or socially destructive (regardless of what any of the completely ignorant folks who preach otherwise have to say), yes, it IS a civil right. @ppyluv I have a massive problem with a Christian who blends her political lawmaking stance with her religion without any real recognition that there are many types of Christians and religious people in this great country who do not share her literal interpretation of the bible.
