  • I was sitting next to her on the airplane to New York!! <3 she is also a very nice girl :)

  • wow! how was she placed here!

  • I love claudia she's amazing I saw her in the nutcracker as a snowflake

  • she makes those split jumps look effortless!

  • she improved so much since 2009!

  • her pirouettes have improved so much!

  • Hehe she's my cousin!

  • Im friends with her sister!

  • I agree with others that she looks awkward sometimes. She is also not on the music and even though she smiles for stage presence, I'm not sure I see the character that she is supposed to be portraying. I really don't think this performance is all that amazing. She can turn but ballet is so much more than the number or turns you can do.

  • she went to the same private ballet school and taught me when I was eight :) she has always been amazing at pirouettes :)

  • I thought Claud was from Australia.....

  • @celineypoo05 she is from Australia. they always announce the competitor at this comp as coming from the country of their ballet school :)

  • gorgeousss. very nice turns and nice stage presence. i agree that some of the landings out of the jetes were a bit jerky, and i was kinda like "what is she doing" in the big pause going into the quadruple pirouette (which was beautiful btw), but other than that, veryyy nice :)

  • Congrats to Claudia on joining the Royal Ballet

  • clauds :) can't wait to meet you in 4 days!!! :D

  • so proud of you claudia :) hope your doing well in rbs

  • I agree with francescaisabella - you would not believe the difference one year could make (compare especially her Prix de Lausanne solo). She is physically and technically so much more advanced. She now has presence and looks outwards. She can now do Bayadere whereas before I had the impression that it controlled her rather than the other way around.

  • What a difference to her Prix de Lausanne solo from the year before, its like a completely different girl!! That year at RBS obviously straightened her out a fair bit, she was, I'm afraid to say, pretty awkward and messy prior to that, so she must have worked very hard!

  • @francescaisabella11 ...I think to be fair you have to consider that everyone improves as they advance in age and strength which comes with time as well as training.

  • absolutely stunning

  • Amazing!! How old is she?

  • Excellent technique, obviously Royal Ballet School pupil, has an emphasis on clean, line, and grace.

  • Il lavoro delle gambe è formidabile, un pò meno sicuro il busto! Nel complesso: Wow!

  • clauds your amazing we love you :))))) our inspiration miss B must of been like over the moon :)

  • clauds your amazing we love you :))))) our insperation

  • That tutu is sooo cool!! But i think she looked better with the blue dress.... that she wore in 2009

  • that beginning was held so beautifully, that i had to fave this vid straight away :D

  • that arabesque at the beginning was held so BEAUTIFULLY that it made me favourite this video straight away :D

  • Beautiful really well done! she has great command of the balance. Lovely to see RAD again, very English and what I mean by that is Elegant! I hope to see her dance with the Royal Ballet!

  • @consuelo1962 i think she's starting with them in august!

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOO CLAUD!!!!!!!!!

  • Positively superb.

  • @LRBSballerinaz No she came about 5th I think. Hannah O'Neil from the Australian Ballet School won.

  • nice performance, much focus, you see it in her expression/mien

    How old is she?

  • @Bwwbe When Claudia performed this, she was 17 years old

  • @MissPorcelainMai

Thank you, for sure, she was born to dance ;) Beautiful!

  • beginning was very beautiful!

  • Thanks BalletGirl09 - my sources must've been wrong!!

  • congrats claudia on joining the birmingham royal ballet i wish her all the best :D

  • @BalletGirl09 she is with Royal :) had a contract offer for birmingham though

  • AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING.

  • and @dancercat2 wow ur so rude!! hahaha

i would be quite embarrassed to be ur dance teacher coz u obviously r clueless.

GO CLAUD I LUV YA!! u r beautiful!

  • I believe she's been offered a contract with the Royal Ballet this week!

  • @zizza07 birmingham royal ballet :D

  • wow!!!!!

she is so good i lov it- i think claudia needs to work on her eyeline, as there were some awkward lines there, due to the eyeline. But truly inspiring and stunning! lovelky turns! xx

  • Her weight placement on her pirouettes has improved so much since she was at the Prix de Lausanne. I agree about the awkward moments but she does have a wonderful quality of movement and lovely jumps. Claudia is a beautiful dancer and I wish her all the best in her career.

  • @dancercat2 go get a life and stop commenting on these videos. Anyway half of your spelling isn't right yourself.

  • @dancercat2 how about you go learn something about ballet and crappo isn't even a word.

  • @dancercat2 darling i dont need to here about your dieing mother

  • amaziiinngggg ...

  • This is amazing. Claudia has an amazing facility, extentions, feet, stage presence, turns, artistry... dang she is just good!! She has a promising future :)

  • Dancercat2 hasn't quite grown up yet

  • @dancercat2 that sounds very much like something a 5 yr old would say which goes to show alot.

  • @sleepeatbreathballet um I am not related to Claudia but I think she is great. I've been dancing since I could walk too and I'm pretty sure I know a good dancer when I see one for example you would be on my radar for a bad dancer. And dancercat2 just shut up and realize that we are the right ones

  • @dancercat2 ok my name isnt josh but whoever that is he sounds like a real fag

  • @dancercat2 i dont really care if i cant spell but im pretty sure u cant dance. the fact i right like a child may be because i dont pay much attention in school coz im not a nerd like some of us. Plus the thing is people who articulate are more likely to be dumb because artistic creative people are left minded and geeks like u are right minded and its clear that u have to account because of the linguistics.

  • @dancercat2 uhm firstly its pretty sad you have to make 2 accounts to make u look good and secondly i have been doing ballet since i was old enough to walk and the difference is that im actully right i know to much about ballet it isnt even funny and clearly i know more then you. and your right its an unforgiving art and u just think its all about the right body which it isnt every dancer has a couple of things wrong with them and claudia has gotton alot further than u which just goes to show.

  • @sleepeatbreathballet It doesnt matter that her feet dont arch coz there is still a nice line and curve and yes her legs dont sway back but they do pretty much straighten. You clearly dont know much about ballet there are people with the right body but thats not going to get them anywhere if they have no technique, artisty, performance. Every dancer has there own weaknesses. some dont have arch feet, sway back, high extensions, turn out ect but u clearly have no brain

  • @sleepeatbreathballet well clearly your not trained well coz if u are then u would have better things to do then run down people who have actully gotton somewhere

  • @sleepeatbreathballet, you are so stupid. She is beautiful and has improved so much! i don't know why you people have to be so cruel about others maybe you just have a case of the green eyed monster.

  • she has a very good quality of movement guys. + good turn and jumps. And what is up with the obsessment about those lines and feet? That is not dance, dance is about movement and being artist. She is an artist and if she keeps working on those landings she might get pretty far. You go girl...

  • @jibriljared I agree with you she has great future and such a amazing quality she has and now I know she is from Royal Ballet School hope we can see her in future at Royal Opera House :))

  • wooowww beatifullllll....where u are workıng ?? or still ın school ??

  • @sleepeatbreathballet well i think everyone beggs to differ. there are a number of dancers who dont have hyper extension and arch feet then again your clueless when it comes to ballet. and im sure if u tried day and night u wouldnt even be close to getting that good.

  • very nice jump =)

  • Dancercat2 she has amazing feet and you know it and she put a lot of feeling in to it

  • @dancercat2 ya u must be on somethin. i WISH i had her feet. ur just jealous of her amazingness

  • @dancercat2 your such a crackpot

  • wow a huge improvement!!!

  • wooww such a talented girl .....keep going and work more hard :) you are beatiful dancer ..

  • Stop at 0:18...

She is so gorgeous and amazing !!

  • She is sooo gorgeous - but it could be so near PERFECT if she would just listen to the music!

    None-the-less, very impressive.

  • She is australian!

  • Claud!! You have improved immensly from the good old Maccas Challenge and AHA Award.. Your going to be a star.. wait.. You are.

    Love you always.

  • Whoa, improved much!! Love to be at the Royal one day......

  • anyone know what's the name of the jump at around 0:27?? it's not grand jete right??

  • she wiggles

  • This was amazing, and she's improved heaps since last time I've seen this. I just think that there were some awkward moments, and at times it was just a bit stiff on landings etc and could have flowed better. But how could you not say this was amazing!!! Well done :)

  • Wow .. i am very impressed!! That was so beautiful .. when she lands her grand jetes ... was so graceful and effortless...

  • Fabulous x

  • cool and good but ya need to sell it and look like you could almost be day dreaming while dancing ( thats why it looks esay) i no i have before and then you dont remember doing it but owell

  • You've improved lots! I saw this dance at BPAC last year- and it was AMAZING then, but now it's EVEN better!

  • Claud this is beautiful :) Hope your enoying Royal ! xx

  • i love the smile, it makes her look so beautiful and compliments her already amazing dancing!

I find that ballet (because of the posture and holding your head high) sometimes make you look a little snobby and self important, but smiling turns it all around, makes you more likeable and sells the performance!!!

  • She's very good!

She makes it so easy, beautifull and elegant.

She has a lovely smile and a great technique.

    Amazing!

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • quite beautiful

  • She is so amazing but I keep feeling like she has these awkward moments, like she's stumbling here and there. But I love her strength and her jumps are amazing, and she has a beautiful quality of movement.

  • She Has Participated in the Prix de Lausanne.

    She is awsome!

  • That was realy good she makes it look so easy and i like how she can pause in the air!
