I miss DDY and the Panazza Bros, but I think what the remaining members are doing is GREAT! They sound better than ever.... and Dennis is doing good with his touring as well!
Styx isn't doing to good without Dennis.They don't have a #1 song(Babe).They don't even have a #6 song(Don't let it End).Universal doesn't want them under there main label (Sanctuary?).They don't even have a Gold or Platnium Album.All they have is a COVER CD, and 100 live cd's, and the "soso" Cyclorama (quoting a band member).Styx isn't even as good as the Dixie Chicks.Least Glen Burtnik saw the light and rejoined Dennis.We have seen many bands come and go and this is one that has GONE for now.
Babe was the gayest Styx song recorded,lol. Dennis De Young was amazing, don't get me wrong, but they got rid of him when he started moving away from real rock and going to panzy music. (Mr.Roboto, Babe,Come Sail Away).
Styx rocks with or without Dennis DeYoung. Lawrence Gowan is an incredible musician and performer. I saw them on 08/12 in Cohassett, Ma. It was a very special night for the sold out crowd and the band. Lawrence Gowan stole the show!
