Bill, though you can sing a little and have guts, here's some advice: USE FACTS TO BACK UP YOUR LYRICS!!!
I used to live in Kansas, until the right-wingnuts turned a blind eye to murdering women's services doctors and used scare tactics to elect Kansas Taliban politicians. When I lived there in the '70s, KS was intelligent... it's a lot dumber now.
Coming soon: my rebuttal video:
"(I'm Glad) I'm Not In Kansas Anymore" (to the tune of "You're Not In Kansas Anymore" by JoDee Messina) -- KC
Hey racist! When you're run out of Kansas, there will probably be an opening available as Justice of the Peace in Louisiana. Your time has passed dinosaur.
I'm from Pennsylvaina and I wish we would get wind farms here but our governer is retarted. I would go with wind farms and solar power it would be a lot cheaper then paying for gas and electric, why would you be agenst something that would save you money? They have wind farms in Oklahoma and Texas so it would help save the people of Kansas a lot of money year round mostly during the winter. So if Oklahoma and Texas can do why not Kansas?
this is crap you should of never done this video. I live in Kansas and support the plants but this is a little stupid. we need economic benefits of the plants but we should look to wind as well. even though places like hays don't want any wind farms. you could use that as your point the people of Kansas don't want to see coal or wind farms they just want the energy to come out of there ass. there are too many idiots in this state and some how they ended up putting them in to power like Kathleen
85% of the energy from the proposed coal-fired power plants was going to go to other states. So Kansas residents would have gotten 100% of the pollution and 15% of the energy.
Kansas is the third windiest state in the country. Kansas produces natural gas. Kansas produces NO COAL.
Bill Otto, stop trying to scare people. It's dishonest and besides, it's not working.
I can see this video helping you in your re-election campaign. NOT! Why would a member of the House dress like a moron and sing an idiotic song on You Tube? Your 'capital' video reminded me of a whiny baby. This one makes me question whether you are mentally stable to continue in public office. Ever consider resigning? I hope that the people of this district see the REAL Bill Otto and cast their vote for Mrs. Lampe. You are a self serving jerk who's only interested in what benefits YOU!!
This would be funny if it were accurate. Since the governor has repeatedly offered a compromise, including one coal plant that would more than cover the needs of western Kansas and still leave 85% of the energy for export to other states. The repeated misrepresentation by my colleagues of the governor's long term energy policy is sad and only reflects their lack of knowledge and understanding on this issue.
All you have to do is follow through with your point.
