  • I just flew a j3 yesterday for an hour and loved it best plane I've flown mayb even better that a Strearman

  • @phlippinout

Yes the J-3 is simple but lots of fun. My son and I owning it fullfilled a childhood dream of riding in a J-3 Cub.

    It was awesome!!

    Thanks,

  • Ahh!!! I have got to stop watching these vids. I am so jealous...

I've flown the C172, C152, C310, & BE 76. Can't wait to fly a tail dragger and especially the J3. Nice video, looks fun as hell...

  • Oh what memories that brings back of spraying tobacco with a J-3 in southern Ontario.

  • @murdude

I"ll bet that was some great flying doing crop dusting. We flew low enough to spray in those fields, just no spray system.....

  • @cannonball200 Indeed you did. That's ok. Doing it the way you were is the best. Trying to put that "goop" where it was suppose to go, took the fun out of the flying sometimes. ;-)

  • Is that a 65? what state are you guys in? looks like it would be fun to fly with yall.

  • Yes, it is a 65. I live in Oklahoma City. Sorry to say we sold the J-3 Cub. It was awesome to fly in, and a childhood dream fulfilled for me. Thanks, cannonball200

  • When I was a kid I flew in cubs a good number of times. The most fun flying you can do. I've always felt safer flying in a two seater than in a commerical.

  • It is safe flying and also real flying from the seat of your britches type, with no radio's, etc... Thanks, cannonball200

We sold the J-3 Cub but I still have the memories.

  • Great Flying!
