It was quite funny because enough body bags and ambulances had just been transported there to remove the bodies prior to the media arriving. The government then made most firearms illegal, they had a buy back so now nearly all honest citizens are unarmed.

I think it says somewhere in there that the right to bare arms is there to protect the people and their civil rights from an out of control government. Not that I am one to incite violence but it would be nice to know that your community was well equipted in these troubling times.
Zero, Grow cucumbers. Just make them grow straight up. They take almost no room that way. In my small greenhouse I manage to grow 6 cucumber plants. I just let them grow up to the ceiling then bach down and back up again. Good luck I enjoy this almost as much as I enjoy HHO.

@ChrisPCrunchy I have a little over an acre of land. Would have to cut quite a few trees out back to let enough sunlight in to even consider a larger garden project than this. Not out of the question, mind you. If Jules can produce 6000lbs per year on 1/10 acre in warm climates, I should be able to produce twice that much from say 1/2 acre despite the shorter growing season.
And yes, I LOVE the idea of local currencies! Just keep the banks OUT of the equation!!!

Hello Zero...cucs can be added to any small garden for virtually no space. Cucumbers will with very little coaxing go vertical. We lived in the city on a tiny lot so I planted ours in the "pole space" of our privacy fence. I put roofing nails every 6 inches up the inside of the poles leaving 1/4 inch from flush, then using bailing wire found cheap in any hardware store ran the wire pole 2 pole horizontally. Those suckers over grew a 6' fence, once trained up the first wire or 2 they went nuts.
sorry to tell you victory garden is one of the biggest rip offs try terroir seeds way cheaper, better and better humanists.
