Tackling a jazz standard with an entirely new sound. Funky, jazzy, anything but "poppy". She had an immense talent and was clearly a heads above the crap that characterized as trendy. Because she was a new trend, refreshing and fearless to be make her own sound. Burned hot, but blew out to early.

I cannot believe back to black and frank soared to number 2 on the charts for like a week AFTER she dies, no shit there are some fuckin followers out there who just bought it, listened to "rehab" and "you know im no good" a few times, threw it to the side and TOTALLY missed her beautiful jazziness and soul. Fuck the world Amy knew that, she didn't pretend and try to appease the fake fuckhead bandwagoners who made games and videos about her until she dies, then they suddenly love her for a day.

Whether you liked her music or not, let ther be no doubt: this girl was one absurdly talentet person. The best thing about her though, is the fact that she was such a genuin artist and performer. She was the real deal. I think that's kinda rare in todays music scene, at least if we're talking popular music. No autotune crap, no lip-synching crap, just pure performance. Amy the performer, is the Amy i will remember. It is sad it all went downhill as it did, but lets hold on to her musical legacy.

@MuseAmore - and I really liked it. I was electrified by her voice and her style of singing and performances on stage. And she was so beautiful and sexy. And classy! WOW. I'm listening this kind of music so I'm really impressed. It's huge loss for us. You shouldn't think about is in this way. Yeah, sometimes people do it for because this is cool but not always. Not everyone.
I knew her music after her death and I'm so sad when I think that she had nobody who would help her in time. :( R.I.P. Amy

Didn't you think that some of these people buying her albums because after her death they heard about her and decided to listen some of her music and then they realized how talented she was. I heard a lot of her before but I didn't know her music. Look, we have SO many artist to choice. We can't listen to all of them. It's impossible. When I heard other songs than "Rehab" (I don't like it too much), it was like "WOW! what a voice! what a music!"

I can't decide whether she was more awesome in her early days as a good girl singing jazz, or as junkie superstar, with her dramas making her even more honest and real.
People loved her because of her truthfullness as an artist in this crazy world of fake boobs and voiced tuned by computers.
It's a terrible loss and I will mourn her for a long time.
