  • Marillion has been one of my favorite bands ever. And the album Misplaced Childhood touches my soul. Love it!!!

  • Blind Curve..................!

  • One of Rothers finest

  • i just wont to be free

i am happy to be lonely

cant you leave me along with my thoughts.

  • id say my best song would be forgotten son but i didnt know that one yet, if u got more of marillion let me know..well im a prog freak in near 30 s trying to get a glimspe of that fabulous not understanted epoch of music...so abyone let me a litlle word..

  • ''so i talked about conscience and i talked about pain and he looked out the window and it started to rain, i thought maybe, i've already gone crazy''...

  • Simply a Masterpiece!

  • @OSCAR29ify Word.

  • I saw teenage girls like guady moths

    A classroom's shabby butterflies

Flirt in the glow of stranded telephone boxes

Planning white lace weddings from smeered hearts

    And token proclamations

Rolled from stolen lipstick across the razored web of glass

Sharing cigarettes with experience with her giggling jealous confidantes

She faithfully traces his name in the tears of condensation that will cry though the night as the glancing headlights of the last bus kiss adolescence goodbye.

  • @Anglagard1 --- erm... warm wet circles not Blind curve, but yeh same album!

  • @wasagoodkid: Actually, Warm Wet Circles was from Clutching At Straws, but I think these lyrics are some of Fish's best.

  • Do'nt understand why they did'nt break through.

They did with me anyways.I geuss for myself, that is all that really matters.

  • @humejames10

The whole trajectory of MARILLION deserves so much love... I can't even express my love with words, I mean, I'm sort of a post-hippie hahaha.

    Thanks man!

  • @humejames10 absolutely love it, much love !

  • Just amazing. Why can't there be more new music like this ??

  • @seinedudeheit2006

because this were ordinary the great 80´.

the time is gone by, over and out, irretrievably washed away, .... its so sad.

    ;-)

  • i love this song

  • one song fantaastic times magic i have alls cd

  • From the Shakespeare of Rock!!

    From the pen of Fish:

"Strung out below a necklace of carnival lights

Cold moan, held on the crest of the night

    Im too tired to fight

So now were passing strangers, at single tables

Still trying to get over, still trying to write love songs for passing strangers

    All those passing strangers

And the twinkling lies, all those twinkling lies

Sparkle with the wet ink on the paper"

  • One of my favourite tracks ever. Just the kind of meloncoly needed as a 16 year suffering from real exam stress back in 1986......

  • Thank you so much for putting this on...

  • I just got out the mental asylum........Hehehehewohahaha...

    fantastic

trying to write love songs for passing strangers....those passing strangers....Who are the?

    Bloody strangers i tell you.

  • Greatest song lyrics::: I saw a war widow in a launderette, Washing the memories from her husbands clothes,

She had medals pinned to a threadbare greatcoat,

A lump in her throat with cemetery eyes.

  • ive shook his hand

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!!

  • Just amazining fantastic utterly brilliant excellent never forgetting unforgetful piece of rock music ever written and unheard in many circles saddly.......

But never forget the brillienst of every piece of the fantatsic Album.......
