Look at how many different skate ventures he was involved in before he went to prison: Sims, Alva, Hosoi Hammerhead, Team Hosoi, Tuff Skates, Hosoi Rockets Wheels, Jimmy Z, and Focus. This Jesus thing is just another gimmick he's come up with to create a new market and reinvent himself after he got out of prison. I went on his church's website and if you want his skate ministry to come to your church you have to pay them 5 grand. It's just a ploy to make money.

You are too blind to realize that Hosoi's story is like many other's, simply a transfer of addiction from drugs to religion. I am happy the guy is living clean now, don't get me wrong. I just don't understand how people get caught up in the crutch of organized religion. IMO, conventional Abrahamic religions AND atheism are equally twisted. Christianity specifically has zero tolerance for any other form of spirituality, even other forms of Christianity!!

Well, if it is a doctor's diagnosis, I doubt if "prayer" is going to to cure cancer. Many of the "testimonies" on scam-shows like the 700 Club are fake. Somebody imagined they had cancer and then voila! First, they donated money to Pat, then they prayed and the next day, they were cancer-free AND millionaires. So, I doubt if you'll ever find anybody with real cancer who has "prayed it away". It's all a myth--still!

Hello. I'm from São Paulo-SP, Brazil (the South America's skateboarding capital) and in the 80's I saw the fight between Cristian Hosoi and Tony hawk for the world hegemony. In that time, sure, we only dreamed, but today, I'm very proud to know that Bob Burnquist is the 'Pelé' (the King) of the skateboarding, like the Brazilian skateboarding is on the top of the world. (Unhapping it still not happened with the Brazilian surfboarding). Hosoi, God bless you! (sorry 4 my bad english)
