I swerved to keep from rear ending a feiro. I went off the highway and came back on to it sideways in front of the guy. I was bringing it back out of the slide and the driver side of it hit the passenger side of the feiro. The impact bounced me and I lost grip on the steering wheel. Since I didn't have to wheels completely straightened up, it sent me back off the highway and flipped. I was told that it flipped 5 times. Still starts and drives like nothing is wrong with it except the body.
That's incredible... I was always a little afraid of my Jimmy being "unsafe" but I guess I can rest easy! haha. But that's very fortunate that both you and the car run.
We bought an old '94 Jimmy about a month ago for 400 dollars. But just the other day, we were driving it for the first time after about a week because it kept stalling and shutting off. So we were just drivin' along on the road, than there was a loud screech and we just stopped. It turns out that the tie rods broke and now the right front wheel collapsed and bent up the front of the car. So now we might have to junk it.
The body on ours is pretty good, it just has some rust around the edges of the top of the wheels. We drove past the shop it's at right now and it was just sitting outside. It looks like overnight the weight of the truck pushed the wheel down even more.
Mine is sittin in a lot with one of my other cars. I have a tarp on it. It starts up and moves. But with a broken windshield and the roof bent down it is kinda hard to move it around. If it hadn't landed upside down and messed up the roof on the front I would be able to still drive it.
i rolled my 95 jimmy about 2 weeks ago and it was a lil worse that that but those things are strong they hold up i was going about 50 when i did it and walked away without a scratch
I was doin 70 but slowed it down to probably around 50. I flipped about 5 times and landed upside down. It held up pretty good. It needs a little work. Plan is to get another body on it.
yea thats what i planed on doing but i found an old 95 gmc 2500 truck for 900 dollars and said forget it the messed up thing is i just got my trany rebuilt about 2 weeks before i fliped it
It isn't to bad, the roof is caved in in the front a bit, body is no good. But it runs and drives like a champ. Starts up on the 1st turn of the key. Got plans for the frame and motor. Will be takin a better video of it for on here. Only I will be driving around.
they are great little suv's and they are very tough to break

I would like to find a body for mine. It still starts on the turn of the key and moves with no problems. But the body is trashed.

It turns out that it would be over 700 dollars, they figured out that it was a ball joint. So it was just towed away to an auto salvage today.
